Surely you must accept that we shouldn't allow more people into the country than our infrastructure can service?
On that basis alone we should only choose the cream - why would you want it to be otherwise?
Which is to be expected from previous polls on GE results etc, the demographic here isn't representative nationally.
I don't see any evidence that this is occurring or stands a reasonable chance of occurring. As it stands EU migration is a net benefit for our exchequer and a big benefit for our economy. One of few things I agree with Cameron about is that you need a strong economy to have good services (it's just a pity he's wrong about how to build a strong economy), immigration helps us have that strong economy.
I do agree with you on this except the part of not seeing any evidence of the strain on our infrastructure. Housing, Schools and the NHS are creaking - I agree cuts haven't helped but all those are supply and demand services. The cuts have reduces the supply and equally the demand has increased unless you think for example the extra 300k this year are living on the streets, don't have kids that need education and aren't getting sick.
Do we think the campaign is going to go to a leave vote after last night or are we still heading for remain?
I'm betting remain still. Nervous voters I think will seal it for remain.

If only it was only going to be a few months..
The forums will be a blood bath one way or another, immediately following the vote verdict. Hope the Mods are on standby.
I think a list of who voted which way would be useful as well so if there is any grumbling in future, those individuals can be told 'well you voted for it'.

Great work by UKIP's Hemel Hempstead branch. EU = end of the Queen!
We have just been told during a pod briefing at work that bookies view the result as being a 75% vote for Remain.
I don't accept that it is going to be anything like that clear cut.
Personally, I am struggling with it. I still don't know for sure which way I'll vote; gloating and retard arguments from both sides has pushed me one way then another and the clock is ticking![]()

75% for remain?
In what universe would it be possible that it gets more voteshare now than it did in the first Referendum...
This is me.
I think I'm gonna abstain as I just don't feel I can form a concrete opinion either way.
I think it's probably referring to the odds of Reamin winning rather than referendum results, essentially that Remain would win 3 our of 4 times if it were repeated.
