uncontrolled immigration is not fear mongering when you are one of the people who are having to compete with the increased population in your area. As well as wages at the low end being kept down since companies employ foreign workers at minimum wage since they know they will take the jobs. Even if the person is being paid less than a living wage.

It doesn't matter what qualification someone has, what matters is their interests. Since those who make the most out of the europe will of course be vying for people to vote remain and will scaremonger as much as possible to get their way. Since it is in their interest to keep business as usual since they get the most of out us being in the EU while the common Brit is left with the short end of the stick.

Yes the economy will take a hit at first, but only a small number of businesses trade with the EU. And large companies that are already setup here came to the uk with a reason in the first place, since it was cheaper for them to setup shop here compared to doing it on the continent. They are not going to suddenly shut up shop, reinvest millions in moving to the continent, to then end up paying more in taxes to run from the continent.

And what are your qualifications for those economic predictions?

Because it's incredibly disrespectful.

But my apologies, I didn't realise this plane was the whole leave campaign.

How is it disrespectful? if it was any other plane then they wouldn't have said anything, the only reason is becasue it was towing a leave banner and Jo cox was for remain. That is the only reason people are saying it is disrespectful.

was listening to the radio today as they had a vox pop when this older man came on and started telling how much better it was in the 60's 70's before we were in the EU, and it occurred to be should we not have set a upper age limited of those that can vote, say 75.
After all not to put too fine a point on it they not going to be around long enough to for the vote too effect them, yet the vote they make will have a effect on people for the next 50-60 years

Huh yeah those dumb old people I bet they don't even read Huff Post!

Common sense and the current levels of trade we already make. Considering there are just as many jobs on the continent that rely on us trading with them as them trading with us. They are not going to turn around and cut all trading ties with us, they would be purposefully cutting off their nose to spite their face.

Thinking that we will suddenly be isolated from trade and buried under sky high tariffs is nothing but remain scaremongering.

Things will take time and there will be some issues at first, but trade will continue. Considering how spiteful many of the EU bureaucrats are being towards Britain leaving. Do you really want to remain in a political union with them?

They do how the hell do you think they can count 20+ million votes in 24 hours.

It won't take them that long. They do it every election, have done for years. You just have a lot of separate sites counting and a lot of people counting. It didn't take 24 hours, they'll do it inside ten.

So you would describe 168 out of the 198 countries on Earth, and almost half the countries in Europe as being "isolated nations" would you?

We're surrounded by EU nations. If we left the EU, we'd be only country outside of the EU that shared its land borders exclusively with EU nations.

If the majority of leavers got their way, we'd leave the EEA. We would be isolated politically as well as geographically.

Why? I thought it was the Leavers who were more motivated to go out and vote?

Leave can only win this vote by getting the white, working-classes to vote in huge numbers. Unfortunately this demographic does not tend to vote in big numbers. It was hoped that because they really do care about this issue that they would turnout, I dunno, I hope I'm wrong but I can see them being put off by the weather.

By that thinking that we should stop Scotland from voting, after all only 8000 migrants went to Scotland out of approximately 180,000 total of net EU migration :)

But it is about more than just migration isn't it?

What about Norway and Switzerland?
