Well people saying that the plane flying over was disrespectful, using a persons death for political gain is more so.

Not really when that persons life was taken while campaigning for this political issue, was killed due to this political issue and the family themselves have kept her memory and opinions alive about this political issue.

If the family are happy for her name to be used in this way, because they would know best what she wanted, then it's just faux outrage from the Leave campaign

It was a genuine question, so I would like a genuine reply.

Okay fair enough. Three positives of the EU

1) It provides a much needed external influence on our own government
2) It opens up possibilities and opportunities for UK citizens in terms of travel, work and living which would otherwise be more difficult
3) It is a great step towards a level of international collaboration on things like academic research, industry standards, business relationships and trade arrangements

I understand they might not be as convincing as my previous reasons though :p

A new poll has revealed that over 50% of the lemming population favour jumping off the cliff to an almost certain messy and agonising death.

“The poll results are fascinating,” said lemming pollster Simon Williams.

“Lemmings have a happy, comfortable, enjoyable life on top of the cliff and yet many of them believe that a suicidal jump onto the jagged rocks below would give them a better quality of life.”

A senior lemming figure from the ‘Vote Jump’ campaign group explained.

“Some lemmings say that a huge drop onto jagged rocks would be fatal, but the fact is that no lemming really knows what would happen if we all jumped onto a bunch of jagged rocks; we could bounce, the rocks could disappear, or we could strike up a robust trading deal with the rocks.

“All of these are all very real possibilities.

“To say that we would all be broken and killed by the rocks is just blatant scaremongering by a centralised elite group who seemingly have no confidence in the resilient nature of us lemmings.”

A ‘Vote Jump’ supporter agreed.

“Yeah, we’d be better off jumping for definite,” he said.

“I mean, yeah, being on top of the cliff and not dying and everything is great, but there are so many voles and guinea pigs coming in now that it just doesn’t feel like a lemming cliff anymore, you know?”

In other news, a recently conducted poll has revealed that Turkeys intend to vote for Christmas.

Was it specifically because of Brexit? I've not followed the news closely but last I heard it was a more a Britain First Neo-Nazi killing someone who they saw as an immigrant loving traitor.

1) Improved workers rights
2) Improved consumer rights
3) In an increasingly globalised world being part biggest trading block
4) Improved environmental protections
5) Greater power as part of the group to curb multinational corporation interests - including tackling creative tax avoidance schemes

I couldn't limit it to only 3....sorry

1) We invented workers rights and were the first to include non discrimination against women in 1970.
2) We had consumer rights before the EU.
3) We can trade with whoever we like outside the EU but cannot within the EU.
4) Environmental policies are down to individual countries to implement, the EU can only advise.
5) Pmsl! :D

Jesus Christ this channel 4 debate is an embarrassment. The panellists are terrible. The audience are terrible. Eg. that assertion from the taxi driver was lol - making incorrect claims about international tax law/transfer pricing.

Add to that Katie Price!

Who is this debate aimed at?
