So you have black bars on an ultra widescreen monitor?

That makes no sense it should be full screen for ultra wide screen monitors...

I get black borders at top and bottom on 1440P screen.

Doesn't make it cinematic, just makes it look crapper imho.

This is what it looks like on an Ultrawide screen display. It's artificial letter boxing on 16:9, it's not using the proper 21:9 aspect ratio. They lied when they said it uses the cinema aspect ratio.

That is ridiculous ! Well I don't usually like to moan about game ports, as I'm happy to see that we're at least getting the games on PC, but this letterbox thing is a joke..

Would much rather it run fullscreen on my 1440P screen that this forced letterbox crap. There is no excuse for them not making this game run fullscreen on an ultra widescreen monitor like yours..

That's just it though, they lied about the aspect ratio. It's letterboxed 16:9. most likely done because full 1920x1080 is impossible to maintain 30fps at on Consoles.
Even so I can't keep a steady 30fps anyway.

Avoid it for now. It need A LOT of work.

I have 6GB VRAM per GPU and the game runs horribly, and it looks meh as well. It honestly looks like it's 3-4 years old. The character models look outdated and despite using the same engine as RAGE and Wolfenstein runs worse, has more issues, and looks worse.

Exactly! Bethesda say they spent 4 years designing this game for 16:9 with letterboxing :rolleyes:

I just had a look @ GPUZ its hitting 80% on simple scenes I think its got serious design flaw issues. Either drivers or game engine no way it should even use 40-50% GPU on a GTX 780 Ti even Crysis 3 does not use 80% most of the time :eek:
 
Ehm game runs fine for me with 60+ fps and borders removed?(reduced)

No framedrops whatsoever (AMD 7970)

Not saying everything is perfect but its not as unplayable as FF13 atm.
 
Don't suppose anyone is having the same problem as me,I can play in max settings on 1080P on my 23inch 120hz monitor no problem,

But when i try plugging in my T.V via HDMI everything is fine desktop wise and other games,

Then when i go to the settings and put it on 1080P all the screen shifts so i can't see half the menu options and gameplay looks like half of it is off the screen.
 
It`s just total rubbish.Locking game with wrong aspect ratio,and ridicoulous amount of FPS,saying it supposed to be like this.
They really think can pull out stunt like this with PC players.
We all know it`s beacuse new consoles cannot handle certain frames.
So developer cut PC experience to meet consoles demand.
Allowing you to access it thorugh console making it a special feature is just dull and unnecessary.
Should be avaiable from games option on the very first place.

I have to agree. I thought maybe it would at least be full screen on a 21:9 screen but its in a small box in the middle. Really not worth playing yet until theres a decent fix for that.
