Nice steelbook not sure £39.99 nice though![]()
£24.99 elsewhere without the steelbook I can live without the steelbook somehow & agree zavvi are poor they cancel without warning your orders when they cannot get stock or deliver days laterNot sure if the price has changed but just clicked your link and its showing as £29.98.
Not that I'd pay extra for a steelbook, or trust Zavvi to deliver on time.![]()
It is by default but the framerate can be unlocked via console commands - although they say doing this may cause issues.

The borders/black bars can can also be removed (aspect ratio can be changed) via console commands.
Alien Isolation doesn't have a 30fps lock on PC. ALL I SEE ARE EXCUSES!
I'm sure uncapping it will be fine. Dead rising worked perfectly for me at 60 and the vram for mordor was rubbish.
Thank the universe for being able to cancel pre-orders. I was looking forward to this but once again we get shafted for the sake of a console-like 30fps![]()
"Shinji Mikami and the team at Tango designed The Evil Within to be played at 30fps and to utilize an aspect ratio of 2.35:1 for all platforms. The team has worked the last four years perfecting the game experience with these settings in mind. For PC players, we'll provide debug commands on how you can alter the framerate and aspect ratio, but these commands and changes are not recommended or supported and we suggest everyone play the game as it was designed and intended for the best experience".

Yep I have ultrawide 34" UM65. The black borders are on ALL versions even PC ultra wide which is why I was concerned as 2.35.1 with black borders on 21:9 is a tiny little letterbox viewportYou have an ultrawide monitor no? You don't need to unlock any borders as you won't see them anyway.
