The ex, identity theft and fraud.

I came into this thread when it was just starting so just caught up. And damn you're one hell of a man fighting all this. +1 on MOH.

You're kids should be so proud, wish you the best christmas :)

Just to add a bit lengthier message of support, it's so refreshing to actually see someone decent, kind and caring in the world. Especially hearing about your other hardships, the fact that you just keep on going is a pure inspiration.

Wish there were more people like Hitman_Leon in the world :)

+1 for Man of Honour 2013!

The ex tried a pretty low trick yesterday; when talking on the phone to my youngest daughter she told her to ask me if she could stay Christmas eve so she could spend Christmas morning with them. My reply was absolutely not; when my daughter told her she said to my daughter "that's just daddy not wanting you to have a good Christmas".

wow somehow missed that in my first read. Total cow, talk about messing with the kids heads.

Just read the thread start to finish and wow its an absolute rollercoaster! What started out as fraud to you showing the social system u was right all along and ur kids are far better off in your care. Your an inspiration these are the years especially for your younger kids that need to go right else your future is only a reflection of your past. I hope you and your kids have a great Christmas and you keep fighting this mental woman back she sounds like a very nasty piece of work, All the best

Keep your head held high op! and give your children a loving Christmas to remember!
it's not all about commercial Christmas and what you can afford to give.

the only wealth that matters is the wealth within your heart and you seem to have an extraordinarily large one!

Just read through this, you have an inspiring level of dedication to sorting your life and your kids out. best of luck Mate!

. I feel the social services system is biased against males or has been in my case. They simply would not listen to anything I told them for so long, I do know they have to make their own enquiries but it seems half hearted and so slow

I know all about that, the courts seem to think that dads are incapable of caring for their kids :(

Glad you're in better place now fella...lets hope your success with your kids is matched with others in a similar place trying to get their kids :)

Hitman_Leon,
Christmas is a time for sharing time with family, receiving presents you never knew you had coming and giving gifts to show how much you care about someone. It's clear from your thread that it has been difficult and at times a struggle for you to spend the time with your family that you and they dearly deserve. Had it not been for your courage, tenacity and perseverance against the odds, I'm sure that Christmas would be a very different story for your children. Your unwavering love for your children is clear and with your direction and support they are likely to accomplish all that they wish.

From what you have said, your children have not had the Christmas they deserve for a long time, but being in your care is a great step to showing them the festive magic that only seems to happen in fairy tales and Hollywood films. To help you create this magic we have a couple of surprises to make your Christmas that little bit more special - it is our gift to you this Christmas. Please accept this with our warmest good wishes and we hope you and your children have an amazing Christmas and new year. You all deserve it.

First of all, I have this Nexus 7. It is yours. All of us at OcUK HQ wanted to give you something, feel free to do whatever you want with it, it is a Christmas present for you, or for one of your children (you will get a Mug too, I will send you one). :)

That isn’t all though, I've managed to contact everyone who posted in this thread who have already supported you throughout the time you have been sharing your story. I asked them all for a small donation and the total so far is:

£496.04

Before I give this to you, I am going to leave this post here as more people may contact me and want to email me in Trust and donate some more. (There are some people who said they couldn't donate today, so no doubt the figure will increase over the next couple of days :))

From everyone at Overclockers UK, and the whole community, we all wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas, and a happy new year!

Thanks for organising this 5UB. Good on you. I wish I could have donated even a little but things said no :( Wish you the best Christmas OP.

Chuffing brilliant. I've been on this forum since 1999 and it's things like this that make it a fantastic community :)
