The F1 2014 season

It's not great, but it's not quite as bad as some of the previous mockups of a finger nose. At least there's no visible step this time around as well, imagine both! :eek:

Hoping there will be at least some variations, even if only slight.

A €100m of the debt is to the Genii group (or whatever they are called). In that regard it's no different to Ferrari borrowing from Fiat. So i'm not understanding why there is a big problem. The Genii group aren't suddenly (not just yet anyway) going to call the debt in and wind up their own team.

They may have borrowed the money themselves. Why do you think Lopez was so keen to sell off the team in that dubious Quantum deal?

Because they haven't borrowed al the money they need and seem unable to do so. Lots of people haven't been paid. Although teams general don't wrap up, they just get bought out and change name/title sponsor.

Its certainly not looking good for them this year, everyone jumping ship.
 
Double points for the last race confirmed. Completely throws away the hardwork the leading driver and team have achieved up to the penultimate race then. What a farce.

My god I wish they'd think these nose rule changes through before finalizing them.

Ugh. How on Earth they went ahead with that when it was pretty much met with 99% negativity is beyond me. The FIA really do live on their own little island.

The proposal - the idea of F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone - was raised at a meeting of the sport's bosses but no attempt was made to overturn it.
However, none of the teams chose to make a major issue of the plan at the meeting, probably because they felt it was not worth falling out with Ecclestone over.

Looks fine to me, and that censored photo is stupid.
As the BBC says anteater nose, is how it should be referred as. Looks fine and far far far better than stepped.


What time is McLaren launch tomorrow. 6pm-10am shift tonight :eek:
