Well funny enough, plenty of Rugby players manage to keep running when they get tagged but then you don't get penalties for falling over there![]()
Yeah but Rugby is gay.

Errr how could Fellaini's goal have been chalked off?
Did i miss something![]()
There's no interpretation needed though, it says nothing about touching the ball. He's clearly gaining an advantage from being there and interfering with the keepers decision making.
Manchester United haven't conceded more than one goal in a game since West Brom last October, 21 games ago.
Bearing in mind he was running, I'm not sure how else you'd avoid it, especially when a penalty is on offer.
Got there in the end. Same old story of rubbish first half, tactical switch (usually involving Fellaini), then we win.
We might as well just start with 442, Young and Di Maria wide, Rooney and Fellaini up front. I'm serious.
I think Rooney was far enough out the way, but it was close.
You can clearly see the keeper pause as the ball's passing Rooney, how's that not interfering?
I don't know, jump?
Keeper is adamant that Rooney is offside as soon as the ball goes past him. He knew Rooney was offside and didn't get across to save it. Its a tricky one but the keeper should have gone for the ball regardless.
The right decision was to go for the ball regardless of Rooney. You can't wait to move if the result of your inaction is that the original effort goes in on its own.
It is, but tell me the last time you saw offside given against a player who didn't touch the ball. The ref doesn't even blow any more until a player touches it.
I don't think it's correct, but it's how the rules are being applied. All I'm saying is that this was not a refereeing mistake but deliberate coherence with recent refereeing.
Arsenal next. That is going to be very tough![]()
I'll have to watch the replay again but assuming he was sprinting, I'm not sure how he'd jump?
