The FA CUP Fourth Round 27/28/29 January *** Spoilers ****

:( We look like Arsenal at the moment, all of the ball and no clue at all.

I wasn't laughing at your defending but the serious bitterness in your post. We didn't play well, far from it but we didn't play 5 at the back nor played long balls.

You had more possession but were hardly expansive in attack; I can't recall Welbeck getting much support.

It was a poor match in which both sides looked more concerned with not losing than winning. Thankfully you made more mistakes at the back than we did and we managed to punish you.

I don't think either set of fans can say they deserved to win, both teams were ****.

To go to Anfield a boss possession the way we did we were far from ****

We were easily the better side and deserved at least a replay but hey ho

Long balls? 5 at the back? Hope you've got plenty of lube to stop the hurt.

Your game plan consisted of hoofing it at Carroll and hoping for the best. For someone so critical of Dalglish you're enormously blinkered if you think that performance was any better than what you've served up recently.

And don't pretend you played Carragher for his midfield ability.

Bah, I was gearing up for an exciting reply at Old Trafford, both teams played average and keeper still doesn't give you confidence when he's being tested or about to kick the ball...but Liverpool did enough & took a open chance and we're out, regardless of who was at fault, we were extremely average. :/

Now, if Berbatov had started then we'd have won 18-0. Fact.

Possession is meaningless unless you do anything with it though Tom. Carrick and Scholes can pass the ball between them and the fullbacks as much as they want, you hardly threatened our goal though.

Both Gerrard and Dalglish have admitted we were the better side, you disagreeing with both?

Just no.

Liverpool should not be causing us problems now a days, Carroll? Downing? Henderson? I'd be worried if we didn't control possession.

How difficult is it to have a lot of ball when you start 5 in midfield and pass it around sideways? We created almost nothing (In fact we created nothing at all in the second half)

What makes it worse is that we have people like Berbatov stuck on the bench, a world class striker who can pretty much do anything.

Embarrassing.

As an LFC fan, the only player I feared coming on was Berbatov. He can really get through a defence and get the goals.

We hoofed it no less than you did, I said we were poor and the team needs serious work in a previous post and no Carragher wasn't played for his midfield ability, he was played to protect the defence.

The performance was almost identical to the one we put in against Arsenal difference being today there was no Nani or Rooney. Given the way I've become use to us playing at Anfield these last 10 or so years we were not **** today

Well if that's what we've come to accept now a days then god help us.

We looked as ponderous as a glacier. Only Valencia and Rafael had any cutting edge at all.
