Of course it's hypocritical, he's looking after his player. What would you expect him to say when he's asked about Suarez being called a cheat? And are you genuinely upset about the booing One More Solo?
I'm honestly stunned by people that seem to be getting upset about a player getting boo'd. As I said earlier in the thread, if you want to get upset about something, get upset about the people chanting about Hillsborough or Munich, not some pantomime booing. There some absolutely disgusting things that get chanted at football matches and people are getting worked up over a player getting boo'd or are they just being hypocritical?

Booing a victim of racism (and nobody else at all) is hardly a great advert for the club. Hilarious.
Robbo, explain why Evra was boo'd in the 2nd half of the league game at Anfield? You seem to know why he was boo'd so I wonder if you know whey he was boo'd then too.
Manchester United fans singing about 96 Liverpool fans dying at a football match is a great advert for their club.

He was booed by the entire ground for getting Suarez into trouble as he racially abused him.
No other player was subjected to anything remotely close to that level of booing.
I'm not saying that makes the fans racist, but I think it's a very poor show. Just my opinion and one you obviously don't share.
If it was the other way around, I'd be saying the Man Utd supporters are retards for doing it as well. It's not something I want to see.
What if Suarez had at the very best over exaggerated the 'racial abuse' he was subject too and constantly lied and Evra was found 'probably guilty' of racism, okay, sure you would.
You failed to answer the question. He was boo'd in the 2nd half of the league game before the racism claim was made. Can you explain why?
And no you wouldn't be saying Utd fans are retards. I've not seen you once condemn the Utd fans that were singing about Hillsborough yesterday, which by all accounts was sung by a large % of your support. If you're going to go around condemning Liverpool fans you should really do the same if your supporters have been up to no good (most would say far worse) as well.
You seem more concerned with Evra getting boo'd. Is that because you're really disgusted or is it because you're being a hypocrite?

Hilarious how many people are up in arms over some booing. Perhaps they booed because the **** rolled about in front of our supporters with a smile on his face after Suarez knocked the ball past him and slightly caught his knee before this all kicked off in the previous match.
I'm not sure what's more hilarious, people telling us why we dislike Evra and may boo him or that they're so upset by a player being boo'd but have totally ignored far worse offenses from their own fans.
I don't go around condeming "Utd fans" for the idiotic songs about Hillsborough because I know that we have our fair share of idiots that sing about Munich too.
If it was due to colour of his skin we'd boo other blacks of any team including our own according to Tom and our own fans which he was expecting lol.
Evra and De Gea were the only ones boo'd yesterday and rightly so.
That was likely the general booing that goes on, not the heavy, focused booing of a single person as they were a victim of racism and got a Liverpool player in trouble. No other Man Utd player was booed.

I think the Liverpool fans booing him for getting Suarez in trouble are a poor 'advert' for their club. It's my opinion and one I'm perfectly entitled to.
If it had nothing to do with that as you think, then I'm wrong. I think you know it had more to do with the racism situation than you're letting on though.
No it wasn't general booing. He was singled out for abuse the moment he started rolling around in front of the Kop.
It depends what you mean by the racism situation. If you're talking about the whole incident which includes Evra feigning injury in front of the Kop, getting up and kissing his badge at the Liverpool fans and then, what a large amout of Liverpool fans believe, fabricating or at least exaggerating parts of his story to the FA, yes. As I've said many times, Evra would have been boo'd (just like Neville for doing the same (actually Neville's was far worse)) for kissing his badge alone.
What's an acceptable reason for players being boo'd or generally abused? Is there a valid reason for the abuse Gerrard gets from Utd fans for instance or does that reflect badly on your club? If so, I'm sure you've said as much before today.
