The FA CUP Fourth Round 27/28/29 January *** Spoilers ****

ITV just had us lined up as 4-3-3 with Valencia and Park wide, I'm sure in reality it will be more 4-5-1 which will no doubt be frustrating.

Such a negative team. Kelly in defence with Carragher in midfield? :(

Nice to see Downing continuing to be rewarded for his world class displays

0-0 written all over it.

Surely they only requested it if Ferdinand didn't want to shake hands . Saying both sides wanted that, etc, is just being diplomatic :o.

Statement in relation to the pre-match handshake.

Following discussions on Friday evening and Saturday morning involving senior officials from QPR, Chelsea and The FA, it has been agreed there will not be the usual team handshake before today's FA Cup with Budweiser Fourth Round Proper tie at Loftus Road.

The FA agreed to the request by both clubs in an attempt to further diffuse tensions before the match.

Just going from what's been said that both clubs 'requested' it, whereas it was probably more both clubs 'agreed' to it if the FA suggested it or something.

yeh it was a crap game, need to step it up on tuesday. adebayor headed straight for the tunnel (though it was an ET sub, wouldn't read too much into it) but he's got to start putting a shift in. VDV can't run, even when he does track back, he can't tackle. should never have started against city and was ineffective, was pretty ineffective again tonight but he scored a crucial goal, has done before and will do again. also pulls off some great passes and is involved a lot in build ups.

modric hasn't really performed well in the past few games either tbh but everyone knows what he is capable of, he just seems to get bullied out of games a bit too easily against some teams and run the show in others. £50m? hmm wouldn't be too gutted if he went for that tbh.

spurs will fall apart if/when redknapp goes unless we get someone like mourinho. losing bale takes a massive part of our game out and he must stay if we are to continue to attack and progress. walker also needs to remember he is primarily a defender, not an attacker. it's good to see him get forward but it's his pace that get's him out of most situations as his defending is suspect a lot of the time.

parker continues to be a revelation for spurs. livermore deserves a 10/10 for effort but he's not first team material, the sooner sandro is fit, the better oh and tom huddlestone, remember him?

Still digusted Arsenal didn't go for Parker, how people can't tell the MASSIVE difference between Song and Parker I don't know.

Parker can tackle, win the ball, shoot, pick a pass, pressure the ball without fouling, and just has more football "intelligence" , reads the game brilliantly. I would think Song is both bigger, stronger and faster, yet is woeful, he has none of the important parts of his game.

Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal could all have been improved by Parker, he's got a good few years left AND he's the perfect example for a younger player to watch and learn from, a leader and maybe not particularly important to most, he seems like a decent guy off the pitch which again younger players should learn to copy.

Yup, VDV from what I've seen this year has been useless and thought starting him at City was a huge mistake, it's not so much his lack of effort, which is a problem, its his lack of creative contribution lately, you need an extra guy in there who will actually create chances for others. He's a complete waste.

Spurs have got a ridiculous quality squad for a 70mil a year wage bill(just under, assuming it will be a bit higher this year but not much).

Apparently Redknapp with an owner/director type who tells him where to show it when Harry says "I need 15 new players this year, I promise I'll sell 15 current ones(in the next 5 years)", can be financially responsible...... methinks the court trial is proof enough Redknapp hasn't got a clue what financially responsible looks like himself :p

Lol, Parker wouldn't have gone somewhere to be an understudy (that's without going into a debate about Lucas vs Parker). He wasted enough time at Chelsea... I'm sure he'd rather be playing, nowadays.

This disease of "haven't seen a real player in that position for years so whoever is in there now looks better and better" has spread from Utd and Arsenal(fletcher/Song) to Liverpool as well now.

Parker is hugely better than Lucas, in every part of his game.

lol, SWP screws up again. I found if funny they pointed out how SWP's time at Chelsea was disappointing, but forgot to mention he was crap back at City and has so far been an utter failure at QPR.

At least Dyer has the good grace to not waste a first team spot and is probably on significantly less than SWP, is SWP the most useless player in the league factoring in wage and transfer fee's.... Torres would win it judged on the past 18 months but the past 5-6 years, I think SWP.

That certainly wasn't 'normal' booing when Evra got the ball there.

In fact, there hadn't been any booing until then.

Positive start from man utd. Scholes looking sharper.

Due gea has gone long every time he has had the ball though.

Also Nani rooney etc are they injured or dropped due to form?,

Injured, I guess you didn't watch the last game where Nani went off and Rooney limped around for the last 5-10 minutes or so that I can't remember.

Valencia :D
