What career? That's the third game he's played this season. Moyes has played Valencia over him several times (at great cost to us) his career was over for us 2 years ago, we just didn't bother selling him (far better to reduce his value to nothing first)

As in I doubt he'll ever get picked again. As today is proof he at least got considered or chosen. He may not have many, but it was a chance today which he would have to have taken. Maybe he was thinking this was his last appearance, Blaze of glory and all that, kind of like... Zidane :p

1-2.

Well Young should be sold, no question about that. If wing is the best Young/Valencia can play and they're both just crap at it then you don't build your attacking threat around it. Nani I still think can be useful for us, he needs regular games though and we have had 2 managers that prefer meaningless graft over (granted erratic) skill.

Have we been like this all Christmas or are we just **** when I watch?

Why? Liverpool have changed formation two or three times this year. Chelsea switch between 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1. Spurs have changed with their new manager.

I'm not saying sell and buy in January. Even if you buy nobody, these are changes that can be made.

And how long has it taken Liverpool to come round to that way of thinking? 18 months? They had Downing as their star winger remember.

Chelsea have very similar players that look far too narrow in most games, today was a prime example, they couldn't get through Derby for a fair while because Hazard/Oscar.

Damn, wanted a draw and a fixture pileup. If they give Moyes a bit more time they'll be able to concentrate on a Europa League place without having to worry about any other competitions.

Liverpool have changed formations multiple times this season. The fact that it took them 18 months to get a manager good enough to do that is irrelevant.

Chelsea create loads, they've just got a lot of terrible strikers.

Ahhh and there it is.

They have a brave manager that will make those kind of decisions and get the time to do it. Moyes has never been lauded as a tactical genius that can mix it up when needed. Throwing Felaini up front to nick a goal won't cut it at United.
