well, levy took advantage of chelsea paying AVB's release clause so it could've been worse

your team spent over a 1/4 of £100m on fellaini

we made £80m on bale

on the whole, i'd say it doesn't come close to the car crash that is moyes.

I suppose that got you back though with paying for Willians flight and medical.

You made 80 million on Bale and replaced him with what exactly? You see what I mean about the game you play asking stupid questions to get a rise? It's pointless.

So Fellaini then as the other one is a youth player.

Januzaj has been here 2 years.

You made a bold statement again but then didn't answer my response, you do that quite often. So I'll try again.

If this is the end of Man Utd as we (you) know it becasue we have lost a few games and gone out of the cup, is it true that there is no chance of us ever being the force we once were?

I see Newcastle got beat at home yesterday and knocked out of the cup, is that them ****ed as well?

How can u compare Newcastle and Man United to each other? Man United are expected to win trophies and compete with the very best every year. If Man United fail to get top 4 it could take them a couple of years to get back into the CL, which would be a disaster for a club the size of Man United.

He's a Newcastle fan.

Who also got knocked out of the cup yesterday and relegated 2 seasons ago.

I was merely asking the question that if this means United are finished, does it also mean the same for Newcastle.

Has that cleared it up for you :)

can i get this in a sig?

What is it you're failing to understand here? Is it because you've only quoted part of the post?

He thinks because we've lost a few games and got knocked out of the cup (Woppy the chap who only posts when United lose) that we are finished.

He supports Newcastle do you get that? I asked a relevant question, do you understand or do I need to draw a picture?

The way I see it the force you were for the last 2 decades is now over, you remind me of Liverpool at the end of the 80s (still a good team but no longer top dogs) you can't match city and Chelsea spending wise.
you have already said you have a lot of ageing players which you won't be able to replace with the top class replacements you need due to city and Chelsea being able to out spend you, you can see the manager doesn't inspire confidence because if he did fabregas would be playing for you now and not barca( word is you were also turned down by Ozil but I'm not sure how true that was)

Getting to newcastle, at the start of the season it was announced that the priority for the season was the league and the cups would be on the back burner, we are 8th in the league at the minute and if we finish anywhere above 10th I will be over the moon because that's the level we are at.

just look how Everton have took off since he left. I can see him managing Wigan this time next year

We haven't taken off since he left, we are playing more attractive football but still will finish in exactly the same place as with moyes.

It is up to the manager to instil that fight in them and get them motivated. Something that Sir Alex was clearly incredible at. Moyes just simply can't do it by the looks of things.

Managed to get fight instilled into Evertons players with no problems, managed to get Rooney interested again after the Fergie rift.

Do u sack Moyes now or keep him and back him with January signings that probably wont be top players as we seen in the Summer he cant sign quality players.

It's his fault now if the new man that came in went after Moyes targets with such laughable sums of money to try to make himself look good?

Which is great and if that is the level we need to be at then so be it, we're never going to dominate for 20+ years, no one ever does.

So what you meant to say was that we're in a decline, which is true, transitional period that could go either way? absolutely, finished? not just yet :)
