The FA CUP Third Round - 7/8/9 January *** Spoilers ****

I don't understand what Rooney elbowing someone months ago has to do with it

It has already been said that two wrongs do not make a right, it is fruitless to come up with an argument based on what a player has done in the past.

aah the old two wrongs don't make a right, a united fans favourite phrase. and are you seriously telling me (A2M) that in the context of the past 5 pages, you can't understand why rooney elbowing someone and getting a soft yellow card for it, has to do with it?

i also find it laughable how united fans wouldn't have argued if rooney had recieved a ban . of course you wouldn't

i also find it laughable how united fans wouldn't have argued if scholes had recieved a ban for his thigh height challenge. of course you wouldn't

I'd just give up if i were you, arguing with most man united fans is like arguing with a teenager, you'll never win, it's why they support man united, can't accept loss.

...... :p I won't reply to any reaction to that as it won't be pretty, though it's meant relatively (though not completely!) tongue in cheek.

You seem to be assuming I'm a United fan

Two wrongs don't make a right, Kompany got sent off, you can't say he shouldn't have been because you dislike Rooney or because Rooney elbowed someone months ago

Lampard should have been sent off, you know why? Because I don't like Kalou, that's why.

I really can't see what Rooney elbowing someone months ago has to do with Kompany getting sent off, have I missed something? Do explain.
