The first "proper" Kepler news Fri 17th Feb?

I can understand where you are coming from. It would have been good if they released a 660/660ti/670 at some stage (sooner rather than later).

I don't know if this is not the case but nobody seems to say anything different.

Yes, as I said way back in this thread, these new cards will be a hard sell because their not "game changers" and everyone can play all the games quite well with something 40% or less of their cost !, I think in recent years the only pc component upgrade that really made me smile was my first SSD's

It sounds crazy but I kind of feel dissapointed that I can't get all settings maxed out on BF3 and especially if I play in 3D.

If there was a card much cheaper that could do this, then I would jump at it however I am looking to the future also and justify the 680 by knowing it will play all the games coming out for the next 2 years (well it better anyway).

I was so tempted to get a 7970/50 and after seeing some of the prices anybody who does is getting a great card for a reasonable price IMO.

Ahhhh ile face the fact, I am a Green kind of guy.

75... Beats the 93 of my 480 xD

Have to agree I'm definitely more of a green kidn of guy... just wished they made a card that could do three screens well and didn't cost the world..

kd

I hear that. I wanted to go 3 screens on my 560ti but basically got told I was in la la land. Vram would be the factor.

I do hate these steep prices though.

Wonder why we there is no new benchmarks sneaking out today, must be more cards out to retailers now ?

Nothing new CAT-THE-FIFTH ? (You are the official detective) :D

True Andy and let's be honest, you wouldn't get a Ferrari for a Focus price.

You haven't met my good friend:
