The first "proper" Kepler news Fri 17th Feb?

£400 I reakon. Which would be a good price. Not a great price, but a good one.

Hell, could even be £375. Which will be a great price.

Ed. Maybe they have realised that no matter what they do they won't convince people that this isn't a mid ranged part?

I would imagine they've had a look around and gauged reaction around the net.

A lot quieter than the 7970 at load, 4C hotter (79 vs 75)

Average performance in 6 games 87.9 vs 74.3 (18% faster than 7970, 30% faster than 580)

So the HK review looked about right, their average game performance was 29% faster than 580, Tom's is 30%.

For comparison Fermi, the worst gain in recent times across a die shrink, was 40% faster than GTX285.

My conclusion is if priced at £450 the card is a joke.
