US: The Flash (2014)

The Flash is real

Oh now come on that has to be fake !

The guy was even bigger then the other one and if you look closer towards the end he turned into a werewolf before pouncing on him.

I think wells is Allen from the future. The explosion caused a time parody and both now need to exist. This is why Wells gets twitchy when The Flash gets in a tight spot...

Or something like that......Tbh I have no idea what's going on either... :)

He is eobard thawne of the future. Eddie Thawnes distant relative from the future. He can't kill the flash because the flash (barry allen)is the source of power for all the reverse flashes. Without Barry being able to tap into the speed force, none of the reverse flashes would have the powers that Barry has access to.

its a shame they didn't have the balls to stick to that story line. for example thats what makes the 100 pretty good. randomly kill off people you have no idea that they would do. makes it more interesting and not so obvious.

also, those brothers are really annoying and ... the sister gets a gun that turns anything into gold. steal money from a truck ?

After last week's excellent episode, this week was a massive disappointment

Seriously, must they keep on bringing back Snart and his siblings? They tried adding a sister in there this week, as if that would make them any less boring and annoying. They're such average villains.

Apparently Snart and the like are going to be in the new show that has ATOM and what not in it, hence they're trying to build them up a bit of background. But I agree they are completely inept in Flash.

I think that Snart and his brother/sister actually play more of a part that a lot of people realise. They are the sort of "Lex Luthor" characters of the Flash. Not in the "Arch Villain" way but basically the there are 3 types of villan. The Crazy Psychopaths who are just bent on destruction, the "Metahumans" and the highly intelligent villain that uses money/power/intelligence/technology/toys to bring them to a level that can challenge the likes of "The Flash".

the problem I have withe Snart etc is for me they bring back bad memories of all the batman films directed by Joel Schumacher with all the little puns about ice and fire its just cringe worthy.

Then the flash doesn't help things when he faces them, he just decides to run rings round them instead of taking them out.

I think that is actually intentional to pay homage to the "golden age" of super hero shows. Just think back to the original Batman Series when the gang of villians had that machine that dehydrated them and turned them to powder. Yes, I am aware that its very corny but it also a big part of the lore and Snart etc actually play it as such. :)

Not to me as I wondered if it'd go that way...

As soon as it was revealed he was wanted to take over leadership of LoA I thought he'd see that as a great way to take better care of his city. Whether or not the picture is to be taken as it stands is another matter as he may not want the job but is up to something. Time will tell. And since there have been crossovers before it was a safe bet there will be again.

While the evidence is certainly building to the above spoiler being the direction Arrow is going to take I wonder if with the build up of time travel and "messing with it is just going to make things worse" alluded to last episode that instead of this being what it appears we're actually going to end up with something like Flashpoint where Barry ****'s things up and has to recruit these alternate versions of his allies to make it right.

Good episode, its all falling into place.

Some ott acting from Luke Skywalker, and the reference from Darth Vader made me laugh.

6 weeks to go and its getting better. I cant wait for the Team Up episode.
