US: The Flash (2014)

I was enjoying the new episode right up until
they did that same rubbish thing they always do with "I believe in you Barry" and suddenly he can succeed at whatever he's doing

It's the equivalent to Fast and Furious franchise's dropping down a gear and suddenly the car have 50% more power... :eek:

I have no interest in Supergirl and have been dreading crossover with her. Arrow did pick up a little but on the whole I feel still riding off the first two seasons but don't see another after this one unless they really get a good season this time. Flash, I generally enjoyed this season, definitely better than Arrow and enjoy the cast.

If they throw me some money i'll write the scripts for next season as well if they want. :D
 
Yeah the whole "I can't beat him, not fast enough" is getting stupid now... The guy has got plenty use to his powers considering he can time travel and jump between alternate realities at will now....
 
I enjoyed rich Cisco and Catelyn being 'kidnapped'.

However why did he let reverse flash run off again? Wasn't he dead last season? I can't keep track of all the timelines :P

Could be wrong but I thought it wen't like this.

reverse flash wen't back in time to kill Barry, Barry got speeded away to safety and his mother got killed. Reverse flash was then stuck back in the past as he didn't have the speed to time travel, So he needed Barry to reach his potential so he could steal his speed and get back to the future. add in him impersonating wells and bringing forward the starlabs explosion to speed things up a little.

If this is the case how did reverse flash get barry back to the past to re-kill his mother etc, also if i'm right about the above everything will be screwed now time wise.
 
I thought it was excellent opening to the season. Really started off on an intriguing plot and I believe has set the entire story arc for the season.

It was a pretty good opener but for the love of god can we have something different to the I can't do it, I believe in you, I can do it. Even a minor change to something like I don't know how to beat them, you could try this, that worked.
 
But isn't most of his character about overcoming his fears and becoming a hero? There will always be a driving (speed)force for this.

I get what people are saying but its the conquering of adversity, in this case believing in his own ability, that culminates in him defeating the bad guy and saving the city. Yes, there are other ways that can be achieved but to be honest it doesn't really bother me, its a tv show that's based on a comic book character. Its great entertainment with compelling stories and likeable characters.
 
I find it quite irritating how in your face they remind the audience Wally is jealous. We got it a long time ago.

EDIT - forgot to say.....Magenta. Shocking. Like having Harry and Jesse back though.

Sooo do we recon that the guy from Harry Potter is going to turn out to be Alchemy? I can see that Wally is going to go to Alchemy to get his powers.
