US: The Flash (2014)

Another speedster as the big bad, not sure how I feel about that. There appears to be a nice twist on him that he's moving so fast that only Barry can see him but is having trouble tracking his movements let alone keeping up with him. On the other hand, are we really doing the whole 'Okay actually I'm not the fastest man alive, I need to get faster' thing again?

He doesn't look anything like Savitar from the comics (absolutely no complaints about that), he looks like an amalgamation of Black Racer and Godspeed. Seen a few complaints about the costume, for me it's a welcome change from the traditional speedster costumes. Just wonder what his deal is, is he the god/master of the speed force? Another repercussion of Barry messing with time.
 
Barry really needs to re-do the voice over intro for "I'm the fastest man alive". Its only ever true for about 1 episode until the next bad guy appears who is inevitably marginally faster. You're lying to yourself and us Flash!!
 
Crossover looks good. I've not watched any of Supergirl but wondering, in that show do people know who she is? Is it like superman and she's parted her hair slightly differently and nobody can tell?

Supergirl a great show imo. It was a tad focused on girl power at the beginning But really has grown as it has many elements from the comics with pretty good super powers special effects for a TV Show, if you like the Flash your generally going to like this, particulary now they brought Martian ManHunter, Superman and Mon-El into the fray.

It is the 2nd best show out of all the CW shows imo.

Give the show a chance, it may surprise you. Particular if you like the source material.

I actually like Supergirl now and i hated it to begin with. Arrow is rubbish and i only watch it as i'm invested, Legends was awful to begin with and has improved to not awful but not good, The Flash is good but starting to annoy.

In their current forms i'd probably say every one of them was rubbish to ok if the other shows didn't exist to compare them to.

Yeah I agree in parts but isnt every CW series is to a degree. As I mentioned it does get better so perhaps watch at least to start of season 2 before you judge. They must be doing something right if they made a season 2 as well as CW buying the production from season 1 and adding it to their TV universe.

Loved the latest episode. You can tell that a director with a great insight into personal and emotional interactions between characters was directing (Kevin Smith) Loved Savitar dragging Barry about like a doll around the city.
