US: The Flash (2014)

So we are going for a kind of Flashpoint storyline hmmm.

Just wiped out 2 seasons of character development!

Barry should be powerless now, no meta humans, and Zoom is still busy murderin' on Earth 2.

Also, technically shouldn't this also wreck Arrow and LoT timelines... O_O
 
flashpoint won't work for a whole season imo, they could do it in a couple of episodes though like other bigger arcs they have covered and then bring in a big bad

They could have Flash exist in this Flashpoint bubble up until the 4 show crossover and then have him return to back in sync with the others.

If I'm remembering the season 1 finale correctly when he went back to try and save his mum then there was another Flash there that warned him not to, so it looks like it's one of those "it was all meant to happen" things.

Or they'll do it like the season one finale where we jump ahead to where everything is alright and slowly reveal that happened
 
I actually thought that last episode was terrible. It was just daft from start to finish. I fear it is on an Arrow like downward spiral now, but have some hope S3 might pick up. As long as the next villain isn't a speedster at least.
 
So Barry has erased his whole past life? I'm guessing that won't last long or it makes the previous seasons redundant. Is he now no longer the flash? Time travel stuff hurts my brain.

Also the "race me to win" was dumb. Still, it's much more watchable than arrow has been this season.
 
Nah don't think so. If he's gone back in time and stopped reverse flash and saved his mum, then reverse flash will not make the particle accelerator, therefore no more flash.

You are forgetting one thing, the real Wells won't be killed by reverse flash this time and replaced by him and the real Wells and his wife were already making plans for the particle accelerator so it is possible it still got made.

As to weather it exploded though is another question...

Sure it will all get put back right within the first two episodes of season 3 though! :D

True, though if I remember correctly Well's original particle accelerator wasn't due to be built until many years later so Thawne killed Wells in order to accelerate the timeline.

On that basis, the original Wells particle accelerator should probably still be under construction.
 
So basically they are back to Barry Prime. Barry doesn't become Flash until 2020 or whatever, at which point he makes an enemy of Eobard, Eobard goes back to kill Barry, Barry Prime goes back to stop him and saves himself. Eobard kills his mum instead, Season 1-2 happen all over again...
