Your knowledge of even recent history of the UK is a bit lacking, certain elements of the population here have had no compunction about major riots, causing massive property and economic damage and general disruption, with police officers seriously injured and brutally killed.

No issue with peaceful protests, but not ones that disrupts to the point of people losing their jobs or dying through stuck ambulances.

I would imagine that if you could be bothered to do a tally up of what political allegiances major rioters in the UK held dear there would be a very marked Left wing bias.

Starters for ten, the "Poll Tax" riots.

Left, right. Those terms are so loosely defined, it doesn't really make a difference.

The kind of person who would do this I doubt really cares what they're fighting for. They're just looking for an opportunity to cause havoc.

No it's true British people are push over pussies when it comes to the crunch. Nothing a good ignored grumble can't not solve. The working class and unions have been gutted out, hollowed and their identity smeared away by money, more general prosperity and decades of governments erosion

Ironically that's probably what makes us British, British.

In times or hardship just shrugging it off and. Dealing with it. It's definitely a characteristic of Brits.

It would be nice if something as important as Brexit caused some real kerfuffle on the streets but nope it's usually just some racialism causing the lumpen proletariat to burn down their own neighbours property and livelihoods as some awesome display of looting JD sports and pc world.

Well they've shovelled in the new laws before the coronation.

Blocking roads, airports and railways - possible 12 months in jail
Locking yourself to anything or anyone - 6 months
Oh and if police fancy it they can stop and search anyone on the basis that they think you're going to cause trouble.

We've started on that slippery slope.
