If others are not having problems with Xfire and GTA V, I'd reinstall GTA V and if no joy, try a fresh install of windows. A ball ache, but could save time in the long run.

Dare I say just to windows 10? You'll likely get a performance boost from it anyway.

Redone my screen displays monitoring again, to show both GPUs temps, clocks etc..., and im absolutely astonished at the temps of these cards, my single 290X hit around 82 max in Firestrike, my 2x Furys, the top card hit 72, and the bottom only hit 61, both are cooler than my single 290X!!!

Nice, this cooler is actually really brilliant, sapphire did a cracking job. Find myself using this card and build more then my main build as it runs so quiet and cool. Seems like even in xfire is does a smashing job.

Odd.. GTAV runs just fine for me so I'm not quite sure why you're having such problems O.o It registers my mem wrongly as well, but not as wrong as yours, mine registers 8192MB (both cards added presumably)

I tested GTAV on the single card and it was running fine, I didn't look at what the ram said though. I just booted up and went out on the tiles.

Yeah if i use a single card, it says 8384410 MB available, but still shows as me using about 7Gb, where my 290X at the exact same settings, reports only about 3.5Gb used, of the correct 4096 MB available, so thats why its stuttering and hitching like crazy, as ive only got 4Gb on my Furys, not 7Gb, its even miss reporting whats being used

Tell you what ive also just noticed, in my Device Manager, the System Devices is open, and ive got 2x High Definiton Audio Controllers, ones Enabled, and ones Disabled (code 22), and has a black down arrow on it, its odd, as ive got a Xonar U7 (USB), and thats working fine.

EDIT: Found a thread on that in the Windows & Other Software part of the forums, its nothing to worry about

Just popped the 15.7.1s on, again on the reboot after installing, desktop was hung, couldn't move mouse, or use keyboard, so hard restarted, booted up to black screen, had to switch monitor off then on to kick screen in, Xfire Enabled again, all seems fine.

New Firestrike score 20,812

GTA V ******* SORTED!

Memory available ingame menu, is now only 8192 MB, and still says im using 6944 MB, but, when increasing/decreasing settings, the memory bar is filling/unfilling, so even though it says im using 6944 MB still, its fine, as memory bar isn't full

EDIT: I downed the 15.7.1s from the Fury downloads section, as they now seperate from the 2s.

Slight stutter now and again, but its nothing, its running, and running great barring that, at last, i can finally play the bugger now!

Im hitting up and over 100fps in places, it bloody flys

Great stuff. Shame about the stutter that remains tho. You say its nothing but I'm really picky about that kind of stuff.

Yeah the slight stutter is nothing, only happens now and again, doesn't spoil the game, its not noticeable when im not looking for it happening, ive just been flying about, it absolutely belts along, and in the Grass, which ive got set to high, im hitting around 120fps, its mental, me 290X was only getting around 47fps same settings in the Grass

Amazing cards, max temp on top card was 78, bottom was 77, but the fans must quicken up when they get that high, as while playing, i noticed they kept dropping back to around 71/72 all time, and quiet as ****, max fan speed top card was 34, bottom was 27.

My single 290X was hitting around 85/86 in it at the same settings, and was louder, these things are just whisper!

EDIT: Afterburner won't take shots now, set it to the same key i used before PGUP, and even tried PGDOWN, but doesn't take them, dunno why.

Glad its sorted then and awesome frame rate.

Only 34% fan speed is really good. I bet if you manually set both to 50% you wouldn't see more than 70c and wouldn't hear bugger all either.

Im just gona leave mine on auto, was just hammering Grid 2 for a bit, and they only went to around the same, fine for me that, as my single 290X went to around 85/86 (auto fan), even 88 in Alan Wake, with a manual fan speed of 80%

Managed to sort taking screenies in AB, i swapped it to my '=' key

My GTA V memory issue sorted

Yes you can, there are very two small TINY switches to the just slightly to the left from the load lights. You can switch them to Red, Blue, Purple of off.
