You're very lucky, I wish I had the same chance with my MSI (not ordered from OCUK).
The noise of mine is horrible and very annoying, I have the card back in its box and I will be returning it tomorrow.

I do wonder with this pump whine issue if some retailers are getting cards back on RMA and just sending them straight back out again to the next customer. I would assume that Cooler Master (I think it's their kit from memory, apologies if it isn't) would be directly responsible for all or partial RMA costs given it's their hardware that's failing.

I quite like the idea of these water cooled AIO cards and think AMD should release such a model for the high end of each generation, Nvidia too for that matter. Ive just been looking at AIO CPU coolers for my next build and they seem far less desirable than the GPU variants. The thermal and acoustic benefits are pretty much beyond compare. I would like to see them delivered in a capacity that would allow them to be patched into existing loops mind, perhaps a system that voids the warranty once a seal or whatever is broken, realistically the only way for AMD or anyone to do it.

It's strange that people seem to hear this pump noise on the FuryX yet it would have been based on the same tech as any other Coolermaster AIO for cpu's. Do Cpu AIO's not have this problem?

The fridge noise is pretty much normal with watercooling, I had it on my Zalman system, it's almost impossible to hear. I'm not even sure it would be possible to hear anything like that over the jet engine type whine the defective pumps came with.

nah, coil whine is much more intense. At least on Fury X it is very intense, but since I don't game in menus and it only comes out in futuremark benchmarks, I am not worried.

whereas fridge noise is quite 'tinkly' and 'airy'

I just checked and my card isnt without the reassuring noise of coil whine, but I cant really hear it unless I really try,
I have my pc under the table so I had to crawl on the ground, also the side panel was off, its around the same volume level
as the D5 pump and I had the fans switched off so normally they would mask it

mine has that 'fridge noise' but I have to put my ear next to the open case to hear both cards make that 'noise'

My h110 or 295x2 make no pump noise that's audible, 2 astek units compared to the cooler master asia sourced units on the fury x. According to toms hardware fury x pumps are made by "AVC (Asia Vital Components) .

Wouldn't put money on it, over the last while there's a lot of cards both nvidia and amd that have eta's that are all overdue, currently the only fury x with a due date is the powercolor card and that's for friday.

Or buy a fridge and stick the pc in it, you ok as long as the fridge is quieter than the fury X

Same here with my Corsair H105, no annoying/disturbing pump noise to report. The pump itself is also from Asetek on this model.

The price of adapters is pretty irrelevant, seeing as you cannot get them at the moment, but you also cannot get the cards so it's a moot point.

Yeah neither would i tbh, as i said earlier, i fully expect the 31st to just come and go, and a new date put up eventually, that will probably turn out to be another months time or so

I know they are in stock elsewhere, but im not paying that price for them.
