Thanks, although I will be putting watercooling blocks on them
Going to test them first with the stock cooling, so at least it won't be wasted. They look really nice!
I know this isn't directly related to the Fury X but I think it was mentioned in this thread and don't know where else to ask...
What's happening about the DisplayPort-to-HDMI-2.0 adaptors? I thought they were 'nearly ready' months ago?
I'm thinking if I could get one of these (and it worked well) I could use it to connect my 290X to my monitor via HDMI 2.0 (the DP connection is being used by my Fury X).
I'd also like to connect the card to a monitor via DP 1.2 as well has using HDMI 2.0, so what adaptor do I need to split a DisplayPort into 2 DisplayPort 1.2 connections and then convert one of those into HDMI 2.0?

Something needs to change asap, i'm about ready to go green again, just so many bloody issues with these Fury X's.
What's wrong?
Loads of little things that just add up, really can't be bothered trying anymore.
Could be right, i don't think Unwinders had his card for long, so i can't see him getting the VC done for a while yet, as look at Sapphire, they've had cards for months now, and they've still not done it yet (TriXX).
How dare you come in and ask this, we all know HDMI 2.0 is a Nvidia feature, AMD owners are hard core gamers, they play ONLY on AMD freesysnc monitors, AMD themselves are fully aware of this hence their very wise decision not to cater for HDMI 2.0, no namby pamby 4K TV's in here thank you very much!

Also amdmatt said something about testing them currently somewhere in one of the fury/driver threads a few days back
For future proof, is it a better choice to get a Fury X now then go CF in the future than get a Fury as it might be too big / packed to do CF?
Anyone?
4GB of mem is going to hold it back massively in the next few years.
