The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

Thanks, although I will be putting watercooling blocks on them :)

Going to test them first with the stock cooling, so at least it won't be wasted. They look really nice!

Can I upgrade to double TROH membership? :p

Unfortunately I bought this a day before the price dropped by £20. Oh well.

Going to build the system soon, just got a few things to sort out now.

A different brand so yes and on TROH.:)

The Roll of Honour.

To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your Fury X.

Still getting the crashes on Bf4 using 15.10s :( can't understand it, nothing is overclocked, just locks up, then alt-tabbing to desktop shows a yellow warning in the icons and Windows saying some crap about amd drivers.

I know this isn't directly related to the Fury X but I think it was mentioned in this thread and don't know where else to ask...

What's happening about the DisplayPort-to-HDMI-2.0 adaptors? I thought they were 'nearly ready' months ago?

I'm thinking if I could get one of these (and it worked well) I could use it to connect my 290X to my monitor via HDMI 2.0 (the DP connection is being used by my Fury X).
I'd also like to connect the card to a monitor via DP 1.2 as well has using HDMI 2.0, so what adaptor do I need to split a DisplayPort into 2 DisplayPort 1.2 connections and then convert one of those into HDMI 2.0?

How dare you come in and ask this, we all know HDMI 2.0 is a Nvidia feature, AMD owners are hard core gamers, they play ONLY on AMD freesysnc monitors, AMD themselves are fully aware of this hence their very wise decision not to cater for HDMI 2.0, no namby pamby 4K TV's in here thank you very much! ;)

@ Matt

Do you have any idea or indication OR know why there is such a delay in getting voltage control on these fury cards? It's taking it's sweet time and with such a statement as a over clockers dream been made when these cards was set to release is now leaving AMD with mud on their face. It's one reason why a lot of people are just going for 980Ti instead. One of my reasons why i want a 980Ti also. Can't get one yet as i just had to fork out for my other halfs laptop :( otherwise i would have had a 980Ti by now lol.

Anyways any info much appreciated cheers!

Could be right, i don't think Unwinders had his card for long, so i can't see him getting the VC done for a while yet, as look at Sapphire, they've had cards for months now, and they've still not done it yet (TriXX). :p

Trixx is useless, I can't touch my memory without it blue screening.

I tried 530, blue screen, 520 blue screen, 510 blue screen, 501... yep the overclockers dreamy blue screen.

I'm connecting this to a 1440p 144Hz Freesync monitor, but the DisplayPort is taken and in their wisdom BenQ decided to only include one DisplayPort connection.

see here - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18697988

Also amdmatt said something about testing them currently somewhere in one of the fury/driver threads a few days back

Cool.
I've seen some on Amazon but they're usually quite expensive or have reviews saying how they don't work, so I've been waiting for official word.
Just hope these are cheaper, don't wanna be paying more than £10 for the adaptor. If I also have to buy the triple port DP adaptor thing too. It's all very well AMD cards being cheaper but if you then have to pay almost 50% the cost of the card on getting adaptors to connect you monitors!

Thinking about it, I wonder if you can plug one of the 3-way DP adaptors into the monitor and then connect 3 PCs to it via DP and get Freesync on all of them?
