Sure, Joe.omg Phiiil! Can I please get some more of these pics!
Sure, Joe.
You mean more pics than are in the albums I linked to? Not questioning your eyesight, just making sure.
What about a non X, they are only about 5fps slower than the X, and can possibly unlock to an X, although i think the Strixx is the more likely to unlock fully.
I think 980s are prone to coil whine as well.
My 3rd Fury X arrived yesterday... and guess what... it has a COIL WHINE... I`m freaking out.. is this common all on Fury X`s or what?? It should be added as a feature to the packaging if 3rd card I got is suffering from it... fakin hell.. it`s probably the worst of them 3 I got... do 980ti`s suffer from this? anybody knows??

PSU.
I never had any card ever that coil whined.
PSU is a big reason for coil whine.
all gpu has the chance of coil whine no matter the brand, should see the 970 coil whining users
Has anyone had any success mounting a Fury X in a Corsair Air 540 case that already has a 240mm AIO using the top two fan spaces, with 3 x 120mm fans on the intake and 1 x 140mm fan for exhaust (Most. Specific. Question. Ever)? I'm considering one for the next GPU upgrade, and I'm guessing it would mean sacrificing the 140mm exhaust fan, as there would be little chance of just sticking the Fury's rad on the existing exhaust fan in a push/pull config.
I had it with GTX680 while folding, which was a big deal for me, since the card was mostly folding. With AMD cards, one of 3 Fury xs is whining at 2000fps, which happens when you run 3dmark03 or earlier. So that is no problem at all.
And recently I gave away my 290x to my friend. While I was using it since its release I never had any issues with noise. Card was folding, mining, playing games, yolo overclocking. No problem at all. But as soon as my friend received the card he said it was whining. His PSU was Corsair CX series I think. So I am 99% sure its PSU issue. I was using Corsair H series 850W, Seasonic X series 850W and later X 1250W, and later Superflower 1600W with 290x.
2000fps,

I have an AIR 540 and a Fury X, with a H105 I couldn't have the AIO at the top, but the rad is thicker than most AIO 38mm (if i remeber rightly). So it depends on which AIO you use I guess.
Now I've gone with an EK 360 L2.0, and now I'll have to do some modding if I want to go crossfire... The air 540 isn't all that watercooling friendly, if I had to choose today I would get a different case.
