The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

Sucks there are these screen issues about. Never known a panel be the sticking point on a system before except for HDCP along time back. Fingers crossed firmware fixes in new batches and screen models remove the pain :)

should have shown a Vram stock bench as well for comparison.

Clocking ram rarely does much anyway, can crank the ram on my 295x2 a few hundred mhz easily and it gives a slight bump in 3d mark. Obviously we're all more interested in seeing in what the core can do, getting it to 1300 or 1350 or around that would be something new, not been able to do that on an amd card in years, at least not on the stock cooler. Even "proper" water cooled results i seen a while back people struggled with 1200mhz on the 290\290x.

Interesting, wonder how stable it was. If the scores higher then there can't be all that much correction going on. Rather not void the warranty though.

Realistically theres probably no way the manufacturer could know if something was messed with via a software overclock. Even using the overclocking in CCC technically voids your warranty.

Shouldnt that also exclude all the non owners posting?

are you serious? Typical troll, feeling a desire to prove something. Thread is for owners to share their findings and non owners ask questions and find out more about fury x. This thread is NOT for dicks to come over and start stating stats of some other hardware which has no relation with thread at hand and then feel hurt that they are being call for thread derailment. No need to act stupid and try to bring 'justice' to the thread.

Link seems borked.

we had someone one of us here posting fire strike results on their machine. cannot remember who exactly. I do remember graphic score being in 16ks or 15ks. Though I might be mixing things, especially since this thread is huge now. Would take years for me to find anything in here

AMD was very reluctant to talk about HBM access latency. So I was wondering if that latency is very high compared to GDDR5? So increasing HBM speeds would net lower access times as well, which would help I would guess?

I wonder if AMD pushed these out with an extremely safe clock on them knowing at those settings they were trading blows with the competition, running extremely silent and cool, pretty much answering everything people wanted, but knew once people could unlock them and overclock them they would be a monster card? ;)

If that's almost a 3k improvement on that score for upping the mem by 100hz and the core by a similar amount, then I wonder if both can go higher with voltage unlocks and also safely? Would imagine if the answer is yes these cards will be seriously fast

None at all bud, card and pump is silent.

Only issue i have is with this AOC monitor, just not happy with it at all so it's going back.

Constant artifacts, monitor switches off and on, AMD cards seem to have issues with them ( something i wasn't aware off).

Sorry to hear that mate, but make sure you get a FreeSync panel now instead. Once you've tried it, you'll understand.
