The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

I have my doubts that more voltage will see massive performance gains, Maybe a little but I can't see it with this card.

My 290X lightning had about the same OC potential as any other card on stock, but it absolutely started to fly on +voltage. I managed 1280mhz on air with it.

Now what did I say?

57 pages and not many owners was spot on as stock is so short. It wasn't tolling or baiting and a point that AMD don't have many out. I will also be an owner come the 10th July with a nice MSI Fury X :D And hopefully there will be a lot more owners in a couple of weeks.

Man you need to lay low mate. Trolling an AMD thread on first day back is not smart.

Trolling? Seriously? I am a Fury X owner (the money has been taken from my account at least) but trying to actually get hold of one is impossible. Hence the post. Mine will be here on the 10th July and really excited in fairness.

Now that i think of it:
It could be that HBM flopped AMD??
All the first news listed 640gb bandwith (625mhz)...and great performance....could it be that some memory chips doesn't run at the desired speed, and they need to reduce it, hence the "lock" on memory??

Was that officially stated as being the target speed or just what was being said in rumours ?

Well i draw a line between
- early news 640gb/625mhz and 980Ti performance rumor
- 512gb/500mhz memory, OC lock and slower than 980Ti - but suddenly matches the 980Ti with mem OC

I have a Blackmagic capture card coming and will be recording gameplay when my Fury X gets here. I will be recording the same runs on my Titan X and my Fury X and then split screening the runs with Vegas to show what is what on each card. I am expecting good things from the Fury X

Seems if you not 100% supportive of amd in everyway your a troll atm.
Grats on the new purchase and will be keen to see your reviews when it arrives.
If once the overclocking tools arrive will be very interesting how fury X goes :)

I of course will be doing a review and I am proper excited. I just can't believe that stock was so short at launch. I was on nights when it launched and didn't get out of bed till 4pm but was in shock at the price gouging. I also wanted a decent warranty, so went with MSI.

Some stock re-appearing on a few sites - including OcUK (1)

Ouch at the price but it will sell as there is just no stock anywhere. I paid £542 for my MSI and don't mind waiting as I am on crappy shifts and wouldn't get to try it properly for the next week. 10th can't come quick enough though :(

Lol, got bored of your Titans already Greggs?
