i thought dynamite was the bomb because in the missions when its asked me to blow up places ive always been given dynamite, where can ya buy a bomb?
 
Nope you can buy sticks of dynamite and an actual bomb.
I am sure u can get one in brooklyn, in the park. near fat clamenza's house.
 
I've got the game for the PC and the only question I have is to do with my mouse controls in the game. Its semi inverted and when I go to the mouse options, there is nothing available (apart from invert, which doesn't fix it). Any idea? Haven't really played the game because of this.
 
What input method are people using to play this?

I reckon the game could be pretty fun, but I'm struggling so badly with the controls.
 
Im using gamepad for driving with keyboard & mouse for the rest im still not completly happy with the controls after about 15 hrs gameplay
 
I'm not very chuffed so far, the control is hellish and the graphics are basic.

I got into a car and can't get back out. :confused:

What a wasted opportunity. :(

I was going to pre-order but I think I will wait till after it’s released to hear how good/poor it is. I only have 2 games on pre-order and they are Oblivion and Ghost Recon.

any way this game is a ps2 game a farily good consol game that is using a famous film name to sell itself. Infact the game is aurful its a discrace to the pc it shouldnt even be downloded for free.


graphics are terrible
sound seams ok, nice 1930's music
cars, ROFL ive seen more detail in a cs mod
atention to detail. none maybe the fact the cars have 4 wheels.
controls. best played with a ps2 pad me thinks
Is mafia better??? mafia is what the god farther should be.
EA at it agian??? OH yes EA owned us.
 
I was looking forward to this too - then I read a review. Decent, but flawed, and I think the summary was that its been done better a few years ago with Mafia :)

No suprises there then.
 
Ok I know I said I wasnt going to get this, but I have lol. And I have to say first impresions are... I like it! :p

Yeah the graphics arent jawdropping, but they are functional and I quite like em. The game engine in uber smooth and feels lovely. The cars yes are very basic, but again I like zipping around in em. Prolly would play better on a pad, but overall keyboard and mouse is fine. Seems a nice little game to me, maybe people where expecting to much? or basing it on the great Mafia game? (which I loved)

I might be easy pleased but thats how I feel about it. :)
 
I was put off when the advert on TV showed some noticable slowdown, if you cannot get it to look right for an advert, it doesnt bode well for the game.

Can you tell me how to get out of cars please? I got stuck in one before I even got to the safehouse. I tried the obvious!
