Hmmm..... they usually do a good job(ish) of keeping the support vehicles and disruption out of shot when they're out and about.

This 300 meters of dead stood still traffic while they fanny about in a lay-by.... not so much :D

I spotted this too! Never noticed such a long queue of traffic besides when they've done it on purpose.

Scotland always looks breathtaking no matter the show, honestly surprised they didn't go to the place the infamous Skyfall scene was taken as that seems to be a hot spot for photos and videos.

I believe that's Glen Etive, and it's quite a bit away from the NC500 route. The drive through Glencoe, which is near Glen Etive is something else also though, especially during the winter.

Enjoyed the episode but wasn't one of the best. Looking forward to next season where they just do specials.

I did the NC500 on a bike last summer, following on from the Wild Atlantic Way. It was good on a bike but there's no way I'd have enjoyed it as much in a car. Too many narrow roads and no passing the Dutch and Belgian caravans.

I did it in June 17 in a Jaguar XF. It was absolutely fine in a car and the traffic was very light. Had a great time.
