Exactly what I was thinking...

I don't get people that do this tbh. I did skip through their 'celebrity' last week for the first time (some big black dude with some weird head gear that looked like he just got off the special bus) but I understand I can't then say that bit was boring, can I?!

Really enjoyed both TG and TGT this week, I’ve decided to stop expecting anything from either and take it for what it is, relatively mindless entertainment, works for me!

You mean Gregory Porter, a fantastic Jazz and soul musician. Even featured on recent dance tracks. And the wierd head gear, that's to cover scars on his neck from surgery.

I dont rate this iteration of top gear at all, but to be fair, Gregory Porter is insanely popular and is certainly as worth a celeb as anyone ever featured....

I'm not saying he's not hugely popular or talented, or he might be massively entertaining, but I decided too based on the first 30 seconds or so of watching him. Mainly my point right here was I wouldn't then say 'this celeb bit is rubbish, they need to get rid of it' as I didn't actually watch it, so how would I know! (unlike some)

I remember when car shows used to be about cars. Those were the days.
There’s plenty of video content about cars if that’s your thing. TG and TGT are entertainment shows and have been for years. The rhetoric of ‘there aren’t enough car reviews in the show’ got boring a long time ago.

Car reviews are also very boring. If you want to see a car review then you can put the desired model into youtube and find hundreds of boring reviews detailing its load capacity. There is no time/space/interest for that on TV any more.

Yes, both fair points you make. Maybe my expectation is just wrong now, and you’re right in that I use YouTube for the majority of my content consumption as it tends to be more specific to what I’m looking for.

Hot hatch section felt weak, the first segment with the Lambo and Ferrari was good and surprised to see Abbie struggle with them.

I personally found this weeks episode boring and couldnt wait for it to end. Having said this there is one piece that I always enjoy, Conversation Street, I think this shows the 3 as they really are, yes a lot of it is scripted but I really enjoy them chatting
