The Grand Tour

I have enjoyed TG and TGT for different reasons, but crucially, I have enjoyed them both.

I truly hope this one doesn't flop and they go out in style and with grace. It would be poor if this was bad and it was remembered as them ending poorly. Does that make sense?

One for the road! Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond & James May go on their final tour together after 8 years.

Genuinely upset with this news.

I think it's because its an end of an era, these 3 have been a surprisingly large part of my life over the last nigh on 20 years, loved them on top gear and continued when transferring to grand tour on Amazon.

I'm not even a car fan, but I still love watching the Top Gear/The Grand Tour specials with, Clarkson, Hammond and May in them. Yes, they sometimes get on your nerves and become boring or annoying - but that's what made it fun, like or hate it. I really don't think we'll ever see another trio with the same chemistry these had.

Top gear specials were always a must watch, TGT not so much. They have done well with their individual shows, I prefer May to Clarkson and Hammond. I actually find Clarkson an annoying caricature, they all are to a point i suppose. AutoAlex seems to have taken the mantle with the roadtrip stuff on YT, just doesnt have the same magic as the height of TG.

Fred, Gino and Gordon come as close to it as I've seen. Love there shows together.

I'm going to miss it - hopefully a few years from now we can get an equally fun motoring based entertainment show again from somewhere
