See the idiot walk, see the idiot talk

Walk Idiot Walk - The Hives

Mine child hath a carriage with speed greater than the devil's own
Equates to:
You've got a fast car

No wonder this thread died :p You don't make up bits of the song, you replace words ;)

well, baby got a fast car. It's not exactly easy to replace words with shakepearean language and I accept that I did a fairly poor job :o

Edited a couple to improve brevity :)

xxxv)Fear not if thine inner self becometh exposed, the dyes of thy spirit, for they hath the exquisite form of daylight catching the dew

Phil Collins - True Colours?

I'm not sure about the lyrics though:

Don't be afraid to let them show, your true colours, true colours are beautiful like a rainbow...?

xxxiv)I standeth in a room, my form cowering far from the entrance, bright moonlight falling upon mine own face. My faith in the Lord dwidleth.

That's me in the corner, that's me in the spotlight, losing my religion

REM - Losing My Religion

Correct on both counts. Impressed with the REM one as that was particularly carp :p

To be honest I only got them after you hinted on the artists :o :p

I can't get the Coldplay one though, grr...

xxviii)Laying thine weary head down upon thy bed, does not slumber come. I fear you may be going from whence you came.

Is this the Coldplay one?

"When you feel so tired and you can't sleep. Stuck in reverse." Fix You

Oooh, and my friend tells me that;
xxix)To be of the fairer sex is my desire, that thou mightst hold in greatest regard that which i have to say.

I have both in text files but without answers (I just remember them). Looking back through them I've just realised that a couple of the ones I did this time have already been used before :o. I can always repost them here, I just won't be so quick to update the answers. Maybe if I do them ten at a time?

"xxx)The most aged of mine kinsman whom i know well cometh bearing good tidings. Doth I observe fear of deceit within thine features?"

"So, if an old friend I know
Drops by to say hello
Would I still see suspicion in your eyes?"
