The GT-R has a new stable mate!

Cars are to mainstream, buy a jet!

Just kidding, awesome collection! Hardwork pays off!

Well played sir! Lovely cars and environment to match - I'd be interested to hear about your comments on which car is useful when. I've only test driven a GTR before I got my DB9 and whilst it was an absolute weapon, I wanted more of a GT cruiser with the ability to cross Europe with minimal fuss and maximum fun.

This pairing seems similar in that regard - both are, in my limited experience, 'track focused' cars (though I'm sure they're both fine on the roads too - particularly the 12C) - which would you pick for a 500 mile journey up the coast? My thoughts are that I would be tempted to choose between them (for a 'track focused' road car) then picking up an epic GT such as a new DB9 or Fezza California to pair it with.

Can we get a bit more info on the car, why you purchase it, how you came to want one etc?

It's nice and all but seeing is as easy as a google search, it is night and day compared to hearing ownership experiances that tell you far more about a car.

Very nice Dave :)

I expect a detailed comparison on how they compare ;)

Stunning. I don't know why you would chose the GTR over it any time you walk into the garage, but then I haven't driven either to be able to say why other than the looks :p

Ex-airline pilot, now a trainee trauma surgeon IIRC.

You don't see the Doctors in ER or Scrubs with a car collection like he does. :p

Was actually very necessary and the job I used it for paid for itself many times over.

That suggests he has his own business on the side which nets him a crap load of cash !

Although I do wonder what kind of driving job that requires a V8 truck (vs a van), and can earn him "many times over" the value of that truck, which can't be cheap. That is one well paid contract for the use of a truck!
