Awesome 
So, DIY fixing of first world problems.
I dont like sticking holders / satnavs to the right of my wheel, I naturally prefer to look to the left. Unfortunately in a gallardo, sticking space is limited to the windscreen, which is simply annoying.
So, bit of lathe work later...
Key to pull it out with (does not go all the way through though to maintain the suction seal.
Felt tape to allow for a snug but safe fit
Vent removed.
Slots securely and snugly into the vent hole.
Fits TomTom mounts perfectly.
Generic cheap phone holder to test with.
Fits perfectly.
Realized I couldn't take a picture of my phone while it was in the holder.. so old phone to the rescue for demonstration purposes

Think I'd have gone middle vent, going to need that right vent when it's summer!
Its a soft top... so... nope

What have I missed
DIY continues.
Was a lovely day and thought why not install the kline button until the exhaust goes on for the lols.
Cup o tea, check. Button kit, check. Lambo, check.
Back grill off.
Which gives access to the vacuum lines solenoid.
Unplug...
Plug the kline controller inbetween the 2 connections
Hide the controller somewhere dry
All done!
So... testing... does the button work.
Yup
Some revs before....
And after
Had some belt noises appear yesterday, theres only one belt on a gallardo and thats for the alternator. Have ordered a replacement for a whole 8 quid
