If the Fury X is to drive the prices of these down how long do we think that'l take to be reflected in stores? based on past events
Check This Week Only, new lower price already in action on 980Ti, which NVIDIA sorted with me this morning for reference versions of 980Ti, new price of £509.99 inc. VAT, but pricing will go back up next Wednesday to around £529

With the difference solely being a backplate, y'all should really be discounting the EVGA 4995 SKU too...

I wasn't worried. Well perhaps just a little.
I was expecting the Fury to be at least 5% faster than the Ti, and even then I wouldn't have switched.

Weak username to GPU choice ratio
I did use Radeon cards a lot in past, last being a 5870. But I still like to use the name Radeon as a username, sounds better than Geforce

The model OcUK have at £539 (the 06G-P4-4993-KR) doesn't have the backplate. If that is important to you need to look for 06G-P4-4995-KR. £539 is a great price though for such a well reviewed card.

Performance is the same, the only difference is the backplate.
I you receive and register with EVGA before the end of the month you get a free warranty extension to 5-years.
Well the R9 Fury X reviews are out! http://goo.gl/xa56P2 Safe to say I'm going to grab a 980Ti, what a disappointment from AMD, it cant even beat a stock 980Ti!
depends on what your looking for rear exhaust or a open design. also the 5 year warranty is a good thing
