Only if you like red. I would swap my EVGA one for a proper NVIDIA Bridge right away if I could.
No way am I paying this, excluding Irish customs and extra vat though.
It's great that your card is boosting to 1380MHz out of the box. NVIDIAs GPU Boost 2.0 automatically boosts the core even more than advertised as long as your temps and power limits are under control.
For 3840 x 2160 DSR are you sure that in the NVIDIA Control panel, under the manage 3d settings part, you have the selected 4.00x "DSR - Factors" and applied the settings? Also afaik DSR is not supported for multiple monitors.
Well after being torn for a while i decided to go for the MSI gaming.
I feel i made the right choice. Now to get down to playing.
Without knowing your room temperature, case (and fan setup), there's not much we can say.
Thanks for the reply RanxZy.
Yep did a little search last night you're right I can't have Surround enabled at the same time as DSR Also apparently the drivers now set your 2x 4x etc to whatever it reads as native. So even though my TV can go 1920x1080 it multiplys at the native res of 1360x768.
I used CRU to change my HDTVs native res to 1920x1080. It worked and now the DSR settings for the TV can go up to 3840x2160.
However I dont think its working properly as the games have this deep dark, horrid overly coloured look to it no matter what settings I seem to try?
Not sure what the problem is if anyone has any ideas?
Also I had 2 8pins plugged into my card, I think it only needs a 6 and 8 is that right? (MSI 6G) Will this kill the card?
Thanks
This can also be read as:
We test every GM200, keeping the better ones in different tiers to allocate towards Classified and Kingpin.
The reason we can't start selling those higher tiers cards when a new generation comes out, is because we don't physically have time to acquire the right silicon.
Yes? Nothing wrong with that of course.
MSI 6G needs 2x8 pin power!
Out of all the cards that are out now, is this the only one that requires 2x8 pin power?
Well, I run mine at 1550core, 8300mem 24/7, so decide for yourself
