Read back a few pages, Gibbo and 8 Pack both said it means nothing for overclocking just what your out of the box clock is like. Mine is 63.4 and will boost up to 1480ish on stock bios.

my cherry picked binned and tested 980 is 66.5% so yeah you're doing great.

Ran fs with the power limit icon checked in os, card at 170/200. Starts of at 1499/3706 but soon after the boost clock drops back to stock 1329/3506, core clock actually drops as low as 1316mhz at times. Power limit icon stays at zero? Im running 100% fan speed and temp maxes at 71c, do some versions of theese throttle at lower temps as i thought 85c was the limit?

Thanks for the pointer, it seems I can get the same score if I drop the volts & core by a little as it stays at the limit (as opposed to it constantly bouncing it).

It seems if I want to get past the 1500 limit on my reference 980ti I'll have to up the power limit.

How do reference cards fare with this? (I know the aftermarket ones have a higher limit on some of them).
