Well it turns out the 980ti doesn't like mayhems fluid, must have been the colour![Mad  ](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/mad.gif)

Yeah if you want SLI hybrid is my only recommendation (besides full water block).
The EVGA one is a bit overpriced (50£ more than the Inno3D) but you get their great warranty.
If SLI wasn't involved or if you want a different approach, you should get the MSI Gaming (540£ right now): you can keep it as it is right now and
add G10+H55 (65£ in total) when you go sli and have possibly better performance than the EVGA Hybrid at the same cost, plus you also have the stock cooler if you need it.
I feel like MSI could have advertised this solution more if they hadn't partnered with Corsair for the Sea Hawk.
Thnx, this makes a lot of sense, im not doing SLI any time soon, but i want to build a PC that will last for few years and have to have upgradability. 980 ti in SLI will probably be as good as any video card that comes after 2 years.
Out of curiosity, anyone here who has changed thermal paste on the gpu? Results?
I feel like is something that should be present on every review.
Never? That would mess up the rest of the line-up.
Plus there is no competition fore the card.
To be honest for price/performance is still excellent at 500£.
Obviously when pascal is released the price would surely drop eventually.
Yeah of course but what's the point? You might have better options when Pascal hits.
I mean if you want to buy, the more you wait, the less the investment is worth over time.
