Well, i guess it was only a matter of time.

Just recently moved to 2560x1440, (was on 1920x1200). Card is actually running cooler. 61c max, previously topping out at 65c with the same custom fan profile.

Ha, yer I spend to much on everyone hence why sometimes I need to move stuff on to pay for other things lol.

Card is really nice, build quality is top notch. Runs passive at desktop, still has great temps.

I think a lot of people will! I have already started putting a little tech budget aside each month so I don't have to be left behind lol

Broadwell e will be ridiculous though, cant wait and I have only just gone x99 lol

People thought the same about skylake and that turned out to be more of a wet fart, the last few intel releases have had a ton of hype and ultimately failed to deliver much. Devils canyon and the 5ghz on air also springs to mind =/

Ill probably skip broadwell E, just moved to X99 but may invest in one of the more upto date boards with the oc socket. That and another 980ti at some point.

or hang on i suppose youve already got x4 furyx and x4 titan x, (along with god knows what else). Your a lost cause mate, no chance to save you from this heinous addiction.

Ill probably leave it until after xmas before deciding wether to get another.

A pair is just the right number for a 6gb card, anymore than 2 and it is Titan X time.

These days I never recommend anyone getting a single TX but when they launched they were the only GM200 option going.

For anymore than 2 cards @2160p the TitanXs are still the best option and would have no trouble seeing off even 4 Kingpin 980 Ti's.
