On a side note I just read about 4 reviews on the ACX 2.0 hitting around 40-45 dB on load when out of a case and around 40 when in one, this shouldn't be too noticeable at all for when you're gaming. I honestly think you'll be OK.
The reviews were using 100% fan speed.

Wait for your card and see how it goes, I can't judge the reliability of these reviews but they are relatively similar results if you factor in test conditions.

Balls to it, went for the SC reference. I just want my card, whoops.

Once it gets in the case hopefully I won't notice either way. FYI I'm currently running a Palit 670 and a Windforce 670 in SLI right on top of each other and I don't think they are too bad. Hopefully this will be around the same volume level.

I also have 4 Noctua Fans and a Noctua CPU heatsink and fan so hopefully this all helps. I'm a bit of a noob to high performance so this, fingers crossed, will be a decent choice.

One ACX will always be more quiet than a reference in a normal case. Probably a lot more quiet.
 
Awwwwwwwww crap, all this talk of watercooling has sparked an urge in me to get back into it...

What blocks currently fit the 980ti?
 
lol the £10 you save elsewhere you save with free next day delivery from OCUK anyway.

Also some of the other retailers are a pain in the **** if anything ever goes wrong.

I only ever buy from elsewhere if it's significantly cheaper and even then I'll only buy from a few places.
 
Cool, well you keep using them then instead of calling out OCUK for "dry humping" anyone buying.

Can't imagine it will be long before you're suspended though.

I was one of the people that took up OCuk's offer of returning the 970. For me it was a terrible card at 1440p. I don't mind paying a little more for good service.

BTW I just placed an order for the EVGA hybrid here after canceling the G1 also here.
