It's your cpu. Your Physics score is lower than my old i7-920 @ 4.0ghz which on my last run scored just under 10k in the physics score. It's enough cpu to drive one top end card but not two.

Firestrike likes high CPU clockspeeds to drive the cards and 6 and 8 core CPUs to boost physics and combined scores.

I notice you have a 4k monitor, if you run Heaven 4 on your setup @2160p you will do much better.:)
 
So I got my Infra red temp gun and shot it over a few places after 30mins of Witcher 3 O/C 1500 core and 4000 memory 1.255v.

The hottest places I could find on my black plate where -60c, if I pointed the laser between the gaps onto the card of the "EVGA" lettering the hottest place I could find was above the VRM's which was -70c.

Thinking this is alright because after a quick look on the net the hottest place on a stock card with no O/C, black plate or hybrid above the VRMs is 91c.

So conclusion Hybrid and black plate ftw, even if it does have a Mondeo badge.

I had a G Reg Orion 1.6 Ghia that just wouldn't die. It did London and back (160 mile round trip) 5 days a week for over 2.5 years before it failed an MOT on a few bits and I gave it away. Loved it :D

How do the people with 3 way SLI find the temps. Looking to possibly move to X99 and pick up a third card, but would likely use the reference cooler (trouble removing the cooler itself :( ). Currently using z97 so have a gap between the two and not seeing any temp issues, but am thinking with 3 sandwiched next to one another things may get hot?

The motherboard I am looking at X-99 E-WS seems to have x16 slots for all the slots and for 1, 4 and 7, but my case is a limitation. Would need to go into slot 1,3 and 5 which is making me wonder if there would be issue with reference designs that close to one another.
 
Hi All.

Does anyone know if OcUK has reduced their range of Titan X's? I am in the market for a couple of cards for a planned SLI setup and I remember there was a OcUK branded card which was competitively priced, just wondering what the happened to that one? and/or if the pricing has gone up?
 
I think it was the Zotac you got when you ordered the OCUK version. Just buy it. It's the cheapest one anyway.
Just looked. It's still the cheapest but it's £50 dearer than 2 weeks ago. Might be worth waiting for them to come back in on a weekly deal?
