The GTX Titan X owners thread.

It's why I went for a pair of sweet-clocking 980s vs a single Titan X, I'd prefer the higher performance for less money!! :)

I can see the benefit in going to 980's.

THE HYPE IS REAL...

for me anyway :p

Maybe i am getting too old or something, i dunno, maybe because we just moved house, Maybe because dx12 is on the way, but i am not feeling it atm.

A 390x at £400 might change my perspective, but i dont think we will see one any less than £499 and again i just cannot see the point.

Seriously looking forward to this card comming, last time I had a Nvidia card was a 8800GTX and I'm getting the same fuzzy feeling I had all them years ago which I haven't had since.

AMD up until 8 months ago provided good performance for not a lot of money, but their driver and Crossfire support doesn't allow me to game how I want to anymore and hasn't for some time. I guess graphics cards are like baked beans, you get what you pay for.

Too true, had Lidl's beans at a mates house once. Yuk ! Sometimes it's worth the extra !

Anyone know exactly how much more strenuous 3440x1440 is vs 2560x1440? I ask because there's plenty of benchmarks out there for 1440, but not ultrawide.

I'm interested in switching out my 295x2, as the Crossfire support has been especially lacking recently. Has anyone done this, or something similar (like switching 290x's?) I'd probably look at eventually SLI'ing this down the line with a pricedrop, time to earn more money :p

34.375% more stressing.

It is easy to work out, just use the pixel count.:)

Maths was never mind strong point!

Thanks though, that's actually slightly more than I would have guessed. I think I recall 3440x1440 is only about 60% as hard on the GPU as 4K, so that should be sustainable too.
