ASIC rating is overrated imo

mines 68 and can do 1500/8000

the thing is the lower it is the better it usually responds to more volts etc

high ASIC just usually means to can get a ok clock on stock bios/volts

if im correct you paid around 500 mark for that one

I did see them when they first came up offered 500 and he said 520 if I collect but was too far for me

didnt mind much anyway, but nice one

Unsure if I should get a second TX or go for a 1080 at this point. Usually prefer single card solution but ,money wise ,it would be better to grab said second card

Tests I've read so far indicate that if you overclock the TX you'll get the performance of the stock 1080.

True but you can also overclock the 1080 which I would be doing

my guess next is overclocked 1080 close to 1080ti

I'm sitting out the 10xx generation. Unless a must-have DP 1.4 monitor comes along there's no point in upgrading for me.

I read the 1080 dose not over clock well people find it hard to get over 2.ghz

Im waiting this one out only 8 months or the next Big Titan

I was thinking of buying one more can pick one up for about £450-500
EVGA so i can still use the warranty think its 6 months old

But i do want a single card really

Tried this BIOS today on my Titans and it knocked 1000 points off my 3D Mark scores. Reverted back to stock, will probably try a different one later.

wont be the case at all gtx 1080 is the small chip

ti will be the big chip

thats like saying an overclocked 980 will match a 980 ti

I dont want a 1080 happy with my T-X OC to 1480mhz

people are saying 1080 is only 10-13% faster than a 980ti and a T-X is faster than a a 980ti

No, nowhere near. Haven't got a clue what happened, will be interested to see how some of the other bios fare.

Thinking of getting a second TX but my last dual GPU was a nightmare experience in crossfire. How does SLI scale is it worth burning another £500 on a 2nd hand TX. All I want is maxium FPS in BF1 which will support SLI from day one. What I don't want it a stuttery experience.

Also is any-one running 2 TX's on a 850w PSU.
