Obviously nobody in uk has 1 yet so maybe tough to answer... But these other BIOS'es - would it be at all possible to flash, say the EVGA SC BIOS on to another manufacturers card. (MSI for example)

Yes, they are the same card all manufactured by Nvidia.

Yes it's possible.

Anyone that's getting 3 cards I'd be interested in seeing the scaling from 2 to 3 cards on any AAA titles if possible.

Glad its not just me then! I need to shift my other cards or else this will hurt my wallet a lot more.

Yeah wasn't so bad for me. I sold a couple GPU's and sold other bits to cover the whole cost of Titan X and then some, so was like a trade rather than spending into my money.

A decent trade off imho

It's vs SLI GTX980s and SLI GTX970s but you should be able to get a good idea.

Mine hasn't shipped yet but I only ordered it this morning. Still plenty of time yet to get it done so not panicking yet.

Anyways, just reading TehTechReports review on the TX. It makes for some interesting reading and results.

Interesting that you left out the Alien Isolation results which to be fair is the only benchmark where the Titan X is dominated by the 295x2. http://techreport.com/review/27969/nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan-x-graphics-card-reviewed/5

But in all fairness the Titan X does really perform insanely well vs the 295x2 and pretty much anything can run Alien Isolation as it's so well coded. It's even tempting me when I told myself no!

Just checked on a site they recomend 1100watts for 3xTitanX, would 1200 be enough total?

Wasn't the 295x2 a $999 card at one point? And the 290X 8GB Sapphire $999 at launch??

By that standard is the Titan X price really that bad???

Actually, the 295x2 was a $1499 card....
