The GTX Titan X owners thread.

Hold that thought ;)
Just checked on a site they recomend 1100watts for 3xTitanX

Interesting read on various other cards

Cheers mate.

Only ordered one to mess around with for now, with the second inevitable :)

Three will probably be overkill for 4K but me likes my overkill :D

I have a AX1200 that does 1500w with no problems and an unopened Evga 1300w so I think I will be ok.

Interesting that you left out the Alien Isolation results which to be fair is the only benchmark where the Titan X is dominated by the 295x2. http://techreport.com/review/27969/nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan-x-graphics-card-reviewed/5

But in all fairness the Titan X does really perform insanely well vs the 295x2 and pretty much anything can run Alien Isolation as it's so well coded. It's even tempting me when I told myself no!

especially when you realise it's one card only....it's tempting because you already know just how good the 970 is !!!

Yes... that will be fine... unless you want to heavily overclock all three cards, then you might be closing in on the headroom.

The actual draw of the cards has been measured to be under 260W each at full load... so that's 780W peak for all 3 cards maxed out + your other system draw... even a heavily overclocked 8 core will be under 300W load... so 1200W PSU will do just fine :)

Reading that review definitely interesting. In places the 295x2 has a higher fps but the frame time is much bigger and its stuttery. I'm definitely thinking I'll be getting a smoother experience :)

Wonder what the price will be like on these in a few months. Definitely want to grab a second.

What time did you order at Boom? mine is still showing as printed in our warehouse. I have the day off work tomorrow so really hoping it gets shipped today.

From OCUK's partner... caseking... showing as in-stock for the standard EVGA card, so couldn't resist... should arrive on Friday :D

Would've ordered from OCUK but I won't be back in the UK til easter weekend

Hope you have not ordered the original Titan by accident as that is the only EVGA Titan in stock currently on the German website. Or you could have just got the last Titan X in stock and I'm completely wrong :D

i'm feeling very Jealous

i'll give AMD till late next week to leak something, if not, i'll get TX

If Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight are games you plan to pickup. I wouldn't worry about AMD's next card. Just grab a Titan X and enjoy it. Can always sell it on later in the year if AMD do offer something that's better than the X.

I plan on keeping this beast until we see die shrinks..

Curious if you have a link to that info bud please.

I emailed Gigabyte 2 years ago when buying a pair of Titans and it was a resounding "No" when I asked to add Water blocks and what their stance was.

Interesting. I have nothing official from them. Sorry. I just read something recently on OCN from a UK customer who rma'd a card with an after market cooler on it with no problems. Let me phone or email gigabyte and get an official response. I'll let you know as soon as I do.

LOL... no, I didn't :p

They are now showing as out of stock with no ETA, earlier today they were most definitely in stock and still showing as in stock for an hour or two after I ordered.

Others had future ETA & some with no ETA.

Looks like they had a couple spare that came into stock today or yesterday :D

EDIT: They're now showing the Palits as in stock for 50E cheaper... but I'm happier with EVGA :p
