The GTX Titan X owners thread.

Hi guys I asked this before but didn't get an answer is the Titan X roughly equal to 2 x 780ti in SLI?

I am looking to maybe do this as I am gaming at 1600P and the 3GB of the 780ti is an issue sometimes.

Just played a little bit of COD: AW.

I'm running 4K everything on max (no AA) at a solid 70-91FPS (FPS limit at 91)

This card smokes both my SLI GTX970 and CFX R9-290s that were running 4K low-medium at a far lower frame rate.

Not to mention the smoothness, my K/D ratio is double now

Btw 4K with X2 supersampling (everything maxed - no AA) is getting me 30-40FPS :D

Note: I'm running a 1427/1971 OC

have you checked the vram usage on that game? when i was playing it 4k, max, smaa it was caching/using 8.3gb vram lol

Yeah it was using over 7.3 mainly due to precache options. I think the extra VRAM gives the card a big advantage as there's no delay to offload and load textures like with my other 4GB cards. Much much smoother.

Yeah AW does not support SLI/Crossfire.

The extra vram is nice to have espeically if the 980 Ti comes with only 6GB. Overall though I would have preferred an 8GB 980 Ti at a cheaper price VS an £900 Titan with 12GB..

NVIDIA have usually been very reluctant to give "more" vfm and also be generous enough with vram. The 780Ti was faster and cheaper than the first Titan but they refused to give it 6GB so it will need to be upgraded sooner imo. 780 6GB was sold for a very limited time. Again they refuse to give the 980 8GB even though the 980m has 8GB lol. I think it's almost certain the cheaper GM200 GPU will be fast but will have no more than 6GB for the peasants :D:D

Hope she got at least some of that jelly!

And yeah I love Springers, I've had three, got a brother and sister and the moment, lovely tempers :)

Anyone else flashed bios? I'd love to try it, but I'd just be doing it for the hell of it atm :)

I had a bro and sis, they were so funneh together :D

Gonna try flashing later. Want to see if my 76.9% ASIC can get me above 1.4
