Got my sli X's installed and case spring cleaned. Now ready to test some games at 4k

Can not get my gigabyte tx to boost past 1215ghz
Borderlands pre sequel on max settings brings it down to 29 fps in places, must be
the x5650 @4ghz bottlenecking

Yeah must be the CPU, just tried it on mine (i7 4770k) with 4k dsr everything maxed out and getting between 80-100fps.

It's a 5 year old Xeon so not surprising.

Pairs Nvidia Titan X with age old Xeon CPU. Yup that makes perfect sense

Time to upgrade your Mobo and CPU buddy

The dips are probably due to the CPU bottleneck...

For the OC have you tried 110% power limit and using a custom profile so your card doesn't throttle?

Just wondering whether I should bother with the backplate, but Ek say it helps to cool the components on that side of the card.??????

lol yeh defo upgrade time just wanted the eye candy first

The way it uses the VRAM is actually pretty good. Makes the game a hell of a lot better/faster/smoother.

Anyone fancy trying skyrim 2560-1440 full enb with mods? my 780ti starts dieing when everything is at max barely get above 30 fps in some areas.and mem usage tends to exceed 3gb
