I've joined the OCUK discord that mel linked.

If we think making our own could be more convenient, then I have no idea how to do that

we gone over to the PC version, because it was free, and the fact that a few guys didnt have a quest, but could play on their PC VR setup

all that hard work we did for nothing!, must re do it all over again now

but its slightly different anyway, like Wood, there's at least 2 types in the PC version, 1 in the quest version, so having source the new one is a little more of a challenge etc
but currently 5 of us sourcing is good fun with 5, so we dont mind doing it all over again

So up for a social gaming VR Monday night 8pm ?

1 thing id love to do is a massive mine run in township tale, get to the teleportation thing, build it so we can jump back in / out

Grab loads of Iron Ore, finish off the smelter

then we can make some Axes out of Iron etc

cant wait to do a mining run, desperately need to

Umm... Facebook is offline ATM. You could find it impossible to use the Quest 2.

Hmm, with facebook down, it doesn't look like we can do oculus party chat.

I'll try and make sure we can still get into games though. Rec room might be more sensible.

Some users are reporting that none of their games are showing up, as the authentication checks rely on Facebook.

hmm, dont know if it will effect the Q2, but we can always use in game chat

Township tale works via virtual desktop for me.

We can use discord for chat as we planned to do anyway?

EDIT - Though I'm not sure how to use discord, I doubt it's too complicated.

You can. But if then it's reliant on you being close to each other. If we get separated, especially in the mines, things could get a bit iffy. If someone dies, how do we coordinate if they're coming back down or if we're bringing the backpack back etc.

I'll login about 19.30 I guess, try and get discord sorted in VD, then make sure it's still working whilst playing township. Hopefully it'll go smoothly! We can then mute ourselves in ATT, to ensure no echos etc.
