That time of year again.

I'm on a 5 I think, didn't go to bed until 3am, was an interesting night one of the neighbours ended up sleeping at ours at one point she offered me a BJ lol.

0 out of 10. Bed at 01:00 then was up at 07:00, breakfasted and after a 1 mile walk to it, started a session in the gym at 08:30. Noice!!

Nah, I said offered I didn't accept. She is having a rough time at home and it all kicked off last night, so Mrs said she could stay at ours.

I'd say she was really drunk but apparently was fine this morning so who knows.

Another one to add to the list of things that never happened.

0/10. Missus usually does dry January. But increasingly neither of us like drinking, which progressed to not drinking at all last night. I haven't had a drop since Xmas day and feel great.

Got up this morning and went to watch the sunrise from the hilltop. I'm very, very close to just permanently cutting booze out of my life.

No hangover for me, was at work until 10pm. home bath and bed.

Nothing for me. Just was at home with family having a few little drinks and bed at a decent hour.

I think over the last few years the amount of people who go out and get sloshed on NYE has dropped drastically. Even my younger brother and his girlfriend just went round a friends house for a quiet drink.

First time for a while on New Years day & I didn't wake up with a sore head.
Had a couple of beers but just wasn't in the mood for a session.

Probably largely my age, but there seems to be an increasingly widespread shift happening, with people deciding alcohol is not a positive part of our culture. Really interesting how this year in particular so many people have laid off the big NYE binge.

Never been into alcohol myself.
Many reasons.

-Get so little time off a year I don't want to waste a day feeling like garbage
-it's expensive
-I usually have to drive
-I don't really enjoy being drunk


Its been years and years since I've had more than 2-3 drinks in a night. And mostly it's only 1 beer.
