The Hangover Thread

0 for me, absolutely tee-total last night, we even had an early night although woke up for the fireworks.

Had a family big birthday party on the Friday night so didn't really feel like drinking 2 nights in a row.

Yesterday I felt like a 6. After 6-7 beers or so as was in town.
Today more like a 3, just drank a lot of champagne yesterday.

I generally feel between a 3 and a 6 after drinking, depending on my level of dehydration. I do have gut rot but quite frankly don't really care about that, the headache, dry mouth and bad sleep is what annoys me. I wake up every hour with so much thrist, I think yesterday night/morning i drank almost 2 litres of water in total over the night when waking up.
I feel like a 2 even after 2 beers usually the next day.

Additionally at level 2 and 3 I am already very irritable. If i'm fatigued more than usual it goes hand in hand with irritability and less tolerance towards, well everyone really..

I basically stopped drinking completely during the week, and in weekend only on occasions, never on my own (only exception was covid-19, i couldn't go out for almost 2 weeks so had a few drink one night).

My tips: eat a good fat meal before going to bed, and drink a lot (of water, or isotone sports drink), at least a litre. Then usually the effects are limited to tiredness and irritability. And don't smoke to much or at all, tobacco really makes a hangover worse the next day.

Found Andrews original salts/powder works quite well.

I drank a fair bit yesterday, put a good heaped teaspoon in a glass of water, drank that, and another glass of water, 2 paracetamol before bed.

I'm knackered today, but no headache at all.

On a 5 today.

Well to be fair I'm mostly over it but the wife has family over and all I want to do is go for a sleep.

Was drinking some double IPAs one was 8% the other 9.2%, then went to Wetherspoons.

I had a hangover on Monday a few weeks ago after going out on the Sunday night. It was very strange as I only had about 7 pints of Coors but maybe I didn't drink enough water when I got home who knows.

It was probably an 8 where the headache was concerned but I didn't feel sick or anything like that although the headache was so pounding it was hard to get to sleep again.

Wowwwwww you living it up brah.

Officially on my second day.

Drank a lot Saturday night, woke up yesterday pretty rough I'd say a 7 out of 10.

But it didn't last too long maybe by 10:30am I was feeling a lot more human, and felt ok yesterday other than just being really tired.

Until about 9:30pm last night, headache came back out of the blue with vengeance, honestly felt like my head was going to explode, the Mrs said I went very pale, pretty much had to lie down. It did go to what I would consider to be a normal strength headache after about 30 minutes, and I went to sleep but I still have that headache this morning.

To be fair I been really good recently going completely sober during the week and only usually having a few Friday and Saturday, it's no good getting older lol.

0/1 today.
I had a 9 earlier this year for the first time in a long time and decided I probs won't do that again as the entire weekend got lost which I can't really afford to do these days.

Id say I’m about a 5 too. Around midnight I decided to Finish off the cheap baileys I posted in the purchases thread to clear it out the house.
Must’ve been about 600ml left in it which didn’t sit well on red wine.

Today is mainly stomach nausea as opposed to headache.
